Nah. I think NATO remembered what mercenaries fight for at the same time Putin forgot. LOL!

In this world in which so many who seem to love war lie about their reasons for waging it, I find the honesty and simplicity of those who make no bones about why they fight wars refreshing.

First , we have been hearing people report on Twitter from all around the US about seeing military planes and helicopters flying over places where they are not usually flying, as well as reports and pictures of truck convoys and tanks being moved on trains, which makes it appear that America is getting ready for something big to happen.
Others have said that it was just national guard training, but that in itself does not account for all of the extra aircraft surveillance in our skies lately.

Then, the airspace around New York was closed down Monday , for national defense reasons. Today, I am reading that The Russian plane that went to Washington DC yesterday was there to pick up the Russian diplomats and take them home.
Again, they are presenting this in the news as just a routine thing, but it is not. We do not allow Russian aircraft to fly into DC; so this has to be something special.
We always try to get our diplomats home safely from other countries when we think that there is danger, and it seems likely that this is why Russia is taking their diplomats home suddenly, too.

You are absolutely wrong. This is simply not true, and don't forget I live here. There were common delays. I don't care which source concocted this, it never happened.

The thing that bothers me the most is who's running the show in DC. And I also wouldn't call someone "absolutely wrong" because even though you live in DC there may be others living there with another vantage point.

I was home all day Monday and listen to local news. The airspace in NY was not closed down. Vantage point? There are no different perspectives on truth. It either was or it wasn't and it wasn't.

So you are saying there's no chance at all that you might be wrong. Ok, I get that. Carry on.

Post #11 in this thread is the notice of flight restrictions on Monday, and it was also reported in the news in several places, even if Lulu missed hearing about it.
Here is one report, but there are several more. The news blames weather and the FAA, but who knows what the real reason was for the restrictions and cancellations.

Yes, the one I ran across was on the FAA holding, supposedly, only restricting incoming flights, but not outgoing. We know there are cover-ups, and imo, I can't see with my own eyes unless I'm standing within the groups behind the scenes pulling the strings of the journalists with their big money.

I don't believe everything government agencies say, period. And it doesn't surprise me that a lot of our "news" comes from common people with their phones, and internet access. I always think of Radio Free Europe as a form of what we have today which is the common folks getting what news out that they actually see in person. And even with that first-hand knowledge, their clear evidence gets poopoo'd, but not by all of us!!

If we can't believe the Moscow Times, then I don't know what to think.

I, too, heard that the airspace around New York was closed for security reasons, but the notice did not say for how long. It may have been only for a short time, in which case the non-pilot folks wouldn't have even known about it. It would have been put out as a TFR or a NOTAM and the public would not even know about it.

I don't know anything about this but it seems reasonable to assume that those who live in New York City would be the last to hear of it because they are soaked in propaganda media. They hear what they're supposed to hear and they won't consider anything else.

I believe it was due to the Canadian Wild Fire Smoke coming down the corridor that prompted closure for NYC and Newark NJ for several hours. It shows that normal news is not reported any longer because it would interfere with all the propaganda now being puked into news. Honestly you have to really dumb yourself down to watch some of this garbage being thrown out there. That thick smoke is very dangerous for high altitude aircraft and has been the source for major crashes with engines shutting down simply because they couldn't breathe any air. I don't think a major crisis world wide would or could be silent with the number of tongues in our government looking for a promotion or a raise. Our services today now recruit outright traitors and then place them into Top Secret jobs like this one recent moron spilling his guts on the internet. He is getting ready to spend a lot of time reading for a lot of years. These are the types of people that have your back while you're out there living in a trench, be sure and say thanks to our government who knows more than most veterans even of the lowest grade.
