Yes that verifies what I have been saying the trade winds across Canada travel from west to east and the winds from highs and lows can change it a bit. The smoke in Chicago can not come from norther Quebec

It's been awful here for the last few days. I'm not going outside unless it's absolutely necessary.

 

Today is sunny but the sky went from blue this morning to windy and grey. Last week, smog was terrible. We only have the Great Lakes to protect us. But if fires cross west of them into the US...???
