My brother used to make fun things from old push mower engines, like go carts etc. Could it be possible to make one into a bike motor for you? Tell the cop it is a lawn mower but the blades were removed?
I was living in a VERY rural part of Virginia back in the 70s. The county was 95% Chickahominy Tribe folks. One of the guys would get so drunk he would fall off of his horse onto the street. His father (regal elder tribesman with long pigtails sitting tall in the saddle) would ride by, look down on him and say "Go home, son." Then the guy's kid would arrive with a tractor pulling a small trailer, load dad into it, tie the horse on, and cart him home. I saw that scene play out more than once.
Thank you but no, the size allowed is very tiny one compared to lawnmower engines. They use very small amounts of fuel and fit up under the seat or top frame of a bike. They supply all the brackets in the kits but for some bikes that might be different a person would need to be a little engineer capable. I have never seen one up close so I don't know if they spin all the time even when Ignition is off. I don't think so because it would ruin the engine always spinning and no way to stop spinning. There may be a lever to engage the engine with the chain. Not next month but in August I plan on looking into it a bit further. I've read that some are capable of 30 to 35 miles an hour. That is a lot faster than I need or would want to go. I have a two block route which is all I would ever use the bike for. I found several years ago I cannot walk one block and it would be less today. Strange thing is they check my blood oxygen level and it is always normal. I still suspect my upper spine is the culprit causing problems with my lungs working as they should. Just shaking out the bed blankets makes my shoulders and arms hurt and almost numb at times. I just had a good physical and two blood works and nothing shows anything that might be causing this. My heart is no different than it was 15 years ago other than being older.
After an annoying trip to Home Depot, I wised up and googled "easy suspension system for grow lights" and found these on Amazon, 2 pairs for $6.
I don't want to play doctor here, and I'm sure your MD is on top of things, but normal O2 readings and adequate hemoglobin count are two different things (if I have my terminology correct.) Your red blood cells could be fully oxygenated, you just might not have enough of them. I think iron supplements/infusions are done, if that's the case.
I had a heart specialist for 4 years and nothing like that was mentioned, actually nothing was mentioned except I'm getting old. It is strange but I still lean toward the neck being so bad, it all started about the same time. I would drag the garbage can to the road and turn around and feel like I was completely out of breath. It slowly got worse that now all I have to do is shake out a blanket and I am exhausted. Several years ago I had a blow out about two miles from home and I turned into a nice dead end street to get off the highway so I could put my spare on. It took me about an hour to change one tire, I was so tired when I got home I went to bed and with the air on I recuperated very fast. That appears to be about the same today, just a bit of rest I feel much better. I think I said once that my Uncle had an enlarged heart and he lived to 96, never had any kind of heart care and he stopped smoking when he was 65, also stopped drinking beer. For the next 30 years he watched wrestling and cartoons. Typical for old people that never saw a TV until they were middle aged, but he loved those damned cartoons. He loved wrestling because as a young man that was what he did professionally for a long time. He was a good old man and I remember things from so many years ago. He told me about a Saturday night in Houston when he and his best friend were out honky tonking. He and the friend only had enough for a beer and one of their friends came over and sold him a 100 lbs sack of potatoes on credit. He and his friend left and went back up the road a couple miles to a different honky tonk and sold that sack of potatoes for 3 dollars. They sold that same sack of potatoes over and over because they told the people that were buying them they would throw them into the back of their trucks. As a kid I remember him taking me way out north of Houston to a little mom and pop place that had a nice little dance hall that was all screen wire from about 3 feet up. It was nice and cool and crowded on the weekends. I remember his old girl friend, her name was Rose and this was in Porter Tx before they had a city sign. In 74 the town probably only had a hundred people.
I remembered thinking when my Dad went to the doctor, They don't do what old people really need, cuz they are old! I don't do doctors unless, when and if, I do the research myself
For some reason I have been near-gorging myself on pistachios, so I bought 6# of them from Amazon at a good price. Dunno why they won't be delivered until the end of July...maybe they ain't ripe yet. Also bought Booker T. Washington's book "Up From Slavery."
Price Harry book ….SPARE … Bought on eBay on Friday .. ( Monday today ) it had a starting price of $16 but a buy it now of $35 …I put I a bid and got it for $16.50 however I’ve not heard a word from seller …..only the usual invoice from eBay to pay which I did within 5 mins of winning it ,so I’m wondering if I’m going to get it ….it’s supposedly brand new never read …. I guess it will wait and see …if the seller update / posts the book … They have feedback I’m not usually a book reader but I thought I might if it interests me it’s a hard back book so it may be a bit hard to read in bed
I would think you are covered for full refund should you not get the merchandise. I was unable to receive a full refund on two items from same source and both were dead on arrival from china, I got money for one put back into my bank account by ebay but even after having two approved they were trying to force me to use paypal which I will not use. I never got my money back on that second one and made sure they knew it would cost them a whole lot more than that one item they refused to pay me for. I have not bought anything from ebay since that time and that has been 3 years. Never again because I am sure I can find something I need from many sources other than ebay. They are not the original ebay and it was sold to these present thieves, and I call them thieves because they did not repay me money owed for bad merchandise.
I’d be furious and yes I’ve had the same with PayPal paying a thief ( Australian ) who I bought a plant from… paid good money + Express post for plant …. I got a dead cutting about a inch long no roots or leaves dead or Alive … PayPal paid them …. For theft I swiftly left feedback on product review website where there is 100’s negative reviews for PP @Thomas Stillhere
It's been a week of making mistakes. I bought a 6# container of pistachios from Amazon because they were 10¢/oz cheaper than Walmart, and then discovered that the brand ALDI sells is a couple of cents cheaper per ounce than the ones I bought from Amazon. I bought some cheap teas from my local Indian market on Friday, and while they're OK, I'm not in love with them after all. I just bought another pound of the good stuff from English Tea Store. Perhaps I can blend it with the stuff I have.
I should have known better than to check the Aerogarden forum today. The "Harvest Slim Elite" Aerogarden model in stainless is on sale for $79 (list $205.95) so riding the wave of FOMO, I ordered one. Sigh. I am running out of places to put them.
