What Have You Got New This Week

Today, I had to get a new Oralb toothbrush. After 5 or 6 years, the battery died on my other one. While we we there, got a box (80) of Folgers coffee Kcups. That's my big purchase for the day.

 

Dave..I think our big purchase of the week was 100 K-Cups of Donut House Coffee for my husband from Costco. Congrats on the new toothbrush

 

This week I bought some birthday cards and some small gifts for my daughter's up coming birthday...she's arriving in a couple of days from the continent...




Also also last week I paid for our plane tickets to Southern Spain...and this weekend I'll have to pay for airport parking while we're away, and for the cost of a hire car while we're in Spain..

 

I bought nothing.

 

Well Look on the bright side ruby... that just means you have more money left than the rest of us..

 

We got some of the items I ordered fro amazon. My wife got some flowers she ordered from breck's and some more flowers she bought at walmart.

 

I like those colors Babs.

 

A few days ago in Burbank (when I was in So Calif.) I went to a yard sale and paid $2 for a small dome topped wooden box. It's really cute. I plan to polish it with dark Old English and I have no idea why I needed it or why I bought it. But I liked it and it was a good deal. Its still in the back of our pick up or I'd take a pic of it and post it here.

 

Because we have purchased some nice things at Best Buy, they sent us a $20 certificate. So, how did we use it........bought the last Star Wars film, The Force Awakens. I can't believe we now have the highest grossing movie in history! This movie broke numerous records all over the world.

 

I bought several gifts, cards, and related stuff this week for my daughters' upcoming 40th birthday..

I also bought several summer tops...I should take a picture of them like @Babs Hunt '...they all look very pretty..I particularly like the peachy/pink one

Mine are white, Lemon, and a tan/peach colour...

I also bought hubs some white Tees...I usually buy them singly but this time I bought a sealed Pack..only to get them home and open them to find they are Vests...*doh*

 

What are vests again in your language?

 

errrm...do you call them undershirts ?

 

Vests are in your language are waistcoats in ours...

 

I'm still not understanding...so you thought you bought a pack of undershirts or tees but instead they were vests?
