Craig Robinson, a 74 year old Utah man who made credible threats against Biden, was killed by the FBI Wednesday August 9 when they raided his home to take him into custody. Given that we can no longer take the FBI at their word, we'll probably never know what happened. I have heard people argue that he was an old man who weighed 300 pounds, the implication being t that he was harmless, but even an old fat guy can pull a trigger, so I don't know. Was he killed because he threatened Biden or was he killed because he posed a credible threat to the FBI? Certainly, anyone who threatens the life of another person should be investigated, yet I don't remember any of the many people who made death threats against President Trump being taken so seriously, or even arrested, let alone shot. Because we do know that the FBI is weaponized, and that they lie, we'll never know the truth.
There were a lots of comments identical to what you just said, @Ken Anderson. And there were folks posting pics of that "comedian" holding a severed Trump head. The 74 year old guy has some number of social media posts wishing Biden dead, and he did have a collection of AR-15 style rifles. No one (except the Feds) knows exactly what happened when the Feds arrived at his place.
What they are saying on Twitter is that even though the FBI has been watching this man for months (since March) and could have easily arrested him when they were following him to church and back, they waited and did one of those 3AM raids, breaking down his door and waking the poor old guy from a sound sleep. Because he thought it was a break-in, he went to the door with a gun, and so they shot him. They apparently had 25 FBI agents in the raid to arrest this overweight, disabled 75 year old man. Here is a picture of him helping build a ramp for a disabled neighbor, and you can see that he does not look like much of a sniper.

The information is still pretty unclear as to what happened. I watched a short video, and did not hear the FBI telling him who they were or to come out with hands up or anything like that. there is (what sounded like) a single gunshot, and then the video ends. In the video, everything still looks like it was dark outside. However, neighbors are apparently reporting that there was a lot of gunshots, and it is unclear if the man was shooting back, shot first, or whether he even fired any of the shots at all. Unless actual body cam video comes out, we will probably not learn what happened. However, most people seem to be in agreement that it would have been simple and peaceful for them to arrest him as he was coming/going to church with his blind son, rather than stage the shootout.
Two more FBI SWAT team raids have happened and people killed, one in Henderson , Tennessee, and one in Albuquerque , New Mexico this week. The reports are on Twitter news, but do not actually say much about why the persons were raided or killed this time. Whatever the intent, the result is that they are creating an atmosphere similar to what probably exists in China and North Korea, in which everyone is afraid to say or do anything that might get the attention of their government, including showing support for someone who the government has cast its eye upon.

Yes , it is the same one. for some reason, it let me see it at first, when I clicked the Twitter link, but now it is giving me the subscribe notice also. It is pretty scary that the FBI is sending out early morning SWAT teams and just killing people, and this time, they are not even saying why they were after the latest ones.
Yup. In today's environment, the cause might be benign and the silence might by psy ops on us. I posted this on a real active forum I'm on to see if anyone knows anything. But since there have been no threads already started, I doubt it.
I think the purpose is, as you said, to create a fear of saying anything or supporting anything/anyone that the government does not approve of. It is a technique used throughout history to control a nation's population.
