for California's Del Norte County, Smith River Complex, over 76,000 acres and counting, 7% containment. People are wearing face-masks here in Crescent City, in early a.m.'s, further upriver closer to fires I can only imagine I imagine he was "out of town on vacation" why he didn't get to this tragedy earlier. I hear this lump of swamp-goo still thinks he will follow fill biden's place at the Whitehouse. Can't say it would surprise me. https://kpod.com/local-news/
I thought California was always in a state of emergency. Most of the crises seem to originate in the state house.
Not this californian, at least for the time being Del Norte County is a Republican/conservative so far, but more retirees are moving in and who knows how long that will last.
Lived here in So Cal for over 57 yrs and and never realized how corrupt it is, wasn't paying attention, have too much fun in the Sun....From day 1 coming here in 1967, housing was unaffordable, coming from the East, talk about Shell Shock.... Reasons: Hollywood, Aerospace Industry, Silicon Valley (aka Silly Valley)
I have felt pretty good about this little town in CA, but it's so lacking in Medical and Dental, that I have thought about moving down to Santa Rosa. I think I would definitely have the culture shock though, with all the traffic, but so much more good stuff to offer as well. I can't do the pros and cons because if one out-weighs the other I just add more things to the other,
Exactly, lol Vada I live in a conservative County, well, we outnumber the libs so far is all. Most of "true" Northern CA wanted to break of into another State called Jefferson I think it was, can't recall now, and know little about it. Just heard about it from a neighbor. Maybe Southern Oregon was in on that too as they wanted to break away from Salem/Portland Metro but failed to do so
