What are the requirements for becoming a Veteran Member.I will never meet them but I'd like to know what they are.I know they'd be difficult for sure.

Ken posted the Trophy Points required to achieve each level. Here is how you receive Trophy Points. Generally, you get points for: -Anniversaries as a member -Crossing thresholds of Number of Posts -Crossing thresholds of Number of Likes Your Number of Trophy Points is on your Profile Page, below your Avatar. If you click on the number of Trophy Points (the 63) you will go to the page I linked on How To Receive Trophy Points.

You are averaging 20 points per month. Now, points accumulation may not be linear, but Veteran threshold is about one year of points at your current rate, give or take (you're over 25% of the way there already.) You'll get points every Membership Anniversary, and you'll get points every Birthday, in addition to posting activity and "Likes" you receive. Veteran Member status is highly doable for you in not too much time. You're over halfway to the level right below it already.

that is not true you can. However please do not let this forum become a competition for you. I have seen that cause issues here in the past. As long as you enjoy posting and reading and offering your opinion, is all that matters.
I come here for those very reasons just to post replies and I have learned some things on here as well.I'm kinda getting used to it but when I see "Senior Member or Veteran Member I wonder about anything I say having value because they've been here a lot longer and have probably heard it all.
If we've heard it all, no one would be posting anything. Besides, we've not heard it from you. Trust me, internet forums are not the same as walking into a Mensa meeting As Hedi was saying, the subject of titles gets raised every once in a while, most recently by folks who have been here quite a while. A large reason those titles exist is to encourage folks to continue to hang around, more or less as a fun little reward system. Other than that, no one really worries about them.
@Julia Curtis, everyone is valued here. Even those who, unlike you, can be a PITA sometimes, contribute to the flavor of the forum. This is a virtual town made up of individuals, and everyone is part of its fabric. Don't worry about accolades, as they will come in their own good time. They mean something to some people, but they shouldn't mean too much to anyone. Simply join in on any discussions you find of interest, and don't be afraid to add your own. To some, this may be merely a place to kill time, while others might learn something, teach something, entertain, or be entertained, and so on.
