Trudeau and the truckers brought me to attention. I was going to send money for gas and pets but the go fund me site was frozen and no one knew where the money that had been collected went.
Trudeau and his libs are not nice.
Now I see this article about an Air Canada flight.
Previous passenger threw up on two seats. Airline did a quick but not thorough clean up. The next passengers did not want to sit in the barfed on seats, so they were thrown off the plane for causing a problem.
The woman in the third seat said they had done nothing wrong to voice their opinions but were threatened with now going onto a 'no fly' list for being argumentative with the flight attendant.
    No compensation for their inconvenience.

I do remember meeting some nice Canadians. Years ago I met a Canadian lady on line and we became friends. I even had an opportunity to meet her and she was just as nice in person.

I can’t say the same for the some I’ve met recently, not every one and not on here, but the atmosphere does seem to have changed somewhat.

Guess I won’t fly Air Canada anytime soon.

I am not really anti Canada with that Headline. Canada is a wonderful country. As with any country, I think, the populace is full of wonderful people with just a few bad apples. The governments are a bit frightening. Look at the US.
I love my country too. But what is happening now is like a snowball that started rolling 100 years ago. People back Trump are looking for a good speed bump.

There is an old saying that goes something about 'People in glass houses....'

The whole world seems to be becoming more and more intolerant of those with whom we disagree with, there are days when I am glad that I am not a young man anymore but my concern for the younger generation increases in direct proportion to the daily news!

Nope I don't take offense to anything said here on this topic. The farthest I've been in the United States is Maine, and I like the LLBean there and the Christmas Store. As far as Mr.Roles comment I don't know if he's referring to me or not but I was brought up not to judge people and I try to stick to that.Up here in the Great White North we watch your elections and it is very interesting because its very prolonged unlike ours.We like watching those.:)

Americans don't even understand parliamentary elections or the system they support much less follow them.

Hamilton predicted that the day would come when we viewed the Fed as "government" rather than the states.

Regarding all the tribal stuff at so many levels...

Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye, when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

I visited Canada several years ago. Was surprised at the friendliness.

I am an American who would prefer a parliament filled by proportional representation over our congressional duarchy. However, I also prefer a government of divided branches (6 in our case, theoretically speaking, though corruption has undermined half of them). I am "paradoxicated".
