Glad Misha is gone. Nyle was excellent. I thought Marla and Ginger were also very good. I enjoyed Wanye but didn't feel Antonio was anything special.
I missed the first few minutes of the show. Of the ones I saw, I thought Kim and Sasha or Nyle and Peta were the best. I gave Antonio and Sharna a 5.
I'm so glad Geraldo and Misha are gone. I thought the skit was stupid, as well, and I was tired of hearing Misha complain. She was a star on a hit show, and got tired and didn't feel fulfilled? I'm sorry, but someday, hopefully she'll wake up and realize many people have real issues, and that was one of her best years to date. She was dismissive of her partner, and didn't appreciate the work he put in trying to teach her and make her look good.
Glad to see Geraldo gone! Nyle is great and very smooth. Wanya sure is good, even with the weight he has.
She did seem to act like she was too good to learn anything about dancing. Bad attitude, and two left feet.
I hope her attitude was out of insecurity, but I'm afraid it wasn't. Hopefully not doing well and being sent home early taught her a little humility. She's a pretty girl, but when the inside doesn't match the outside, people eventually notice. I thought Antonio deserved a slightly higher score, he seems to be trying, and is a pretty good dancer. I have no idea how Nyle does it. He seems to have a better sense of the music than some with hearing. I haven't got favorites yet, the season is too young, and there are still way too many, but it looks to be an interesting season.
Marla was a good dancer IMO, but she has no fan base. There's also the Trump connection which didn't help. Ginger and Val were really good.
I gave three tens last night; Doug - Karina, Ginger - Val, Paige - Mark. I think the judges were impressed, too, from the scores they gave. Didn't Len say that Paige and Mark's dance was the best he had ever seen on DWTS?
I'm not surprised Marla went. That guy that is deaf? How amazing is THAT!!? I marvel at him every week.. (He's a hunk too)
I've been avoiding this thread, since I tend to be behind on DWTS this season. I'm still so happy that Len is back, I like that he holds them to the elements of the dance, rather than simply judging on artistry and performance. It's always somewhat sad to see someone go home after they've given their best performance, but it was probably time for Doug to leave. What surprised me was that Kim Fields wasn't in jeopardy. I think she belonged there. much more than Paige and Mark.
