How Many People Have You Known Here

Since I've been here I've seen lil circles with people in them,like profile pictures I mean.Does everyone just communicate here or do you all know each other personally?At Christmas do we all meet online somewhere or is this it.I've never had a Forum before,I don't have Facebook or Twitter just Pintrest.I find Facebook to be very overwhelming and I have never been interested in Twitter but TicTock looks interesting but I have not had the nerve to try it.YouTube I do like that.Just wondering if everyone or anyone knows anyone in....well....real life.

@Julia Curtis - I do not know anyone personally on here.The longer your on here the more you will learn about people and how we all are uniquely different. I like being able to communicate with people all over the world, and how they live and think. When talking to others I do know, I refer to the people on here as my on-line friends. There a few on here that I have gotten to know better over the years of being on here.
I find this forum 100 percent better than any Facebook, Twitter accounts. Much more personal and caring,no ads to deal with.
When in doubt about anything on here or elsewhere ask and someone here will help you.

 

Thanks Heidi.I will do that.And I come here because I live alone and I don't socialize a lot meaning I am introverted,so I do like this community I sometimes feel awkward posting anything because I am not neuro typical so I have to think for days before I put anything on here.

I have never met anyone on here, but I feel I know a few. One or two I feel are a lot like me.

I don't see itasa bad thing,came right along with the Aspergers.I really am content with my own company if that makes any sense.

My middle daughter is autistic and over the years she has changed. I tease that when she was young she seldom talked and now we can't get her to shut up
She moved back home recently from living out east near her big sister and likes to walk around town, to the library and farmers market etc. She can't drive so I have been taking her to town. Recently she decided to rent a room from friends from church this month. They live in town so she can continue to grow. She is confused by a lot but is learning more and more.
We all seem to learn and grow on here. It is like a written coffee klatch; pen pal friends

 

I didn't speak until I was 6 and my Mother started with flashcards and different things and after about a year I went to grade one.Yup I've heard the same thing but with me I talk to myself to much(go ahead and laugh lol)and I sometimes have to shut myself up.
