37 F. and gloomy this morning. It would have frozen as predicted, but clouds moved in and saved us from frost. Wife just took the tractor over to see what she needed to harvest. A young grandson was over to "help" harvest carrots and onions yesterday, but he soon tired of the root crops and grandma took him to harvest apples, a much more enjoyable task for him.
Wonderfully cool and more cool days high 60-70 rest of the week. Good rain last night and more on the way around 8 pm

36 F. and raining this morning, but it has risen almost to 50 F. now. The snow is creeping down the mountains....
No ac on for three days now. It was 53 degrees at 7 am today. All the windows are open and nice cool breezes. However with all the windows open it is much nosier.
53 F. was about our high temp today, but I drove my wife out of the house with capsaicin fumes making hot pepper relish . Doors and windows are open and the furnace is off.

It was in the 60s this morning but felt very chilly. It's in the 70s now and it feels like this morning. I've pulled out my flannel shirts.
The 70s is typical summer weather here. I don't pull out the flannel shirts until it gets down into the 20s.
