War is truly a terrible thing. Many of those so-called "leaders" such as Linsey Graham and Joe Biden have never seen combat and really have o idea what war is like. I will say, that if you see pictures of Gaza City and Kyiv and compare theme, you can see that what Russia is conducting is truly a "special military operation" and not total war, for people in Kyiv are carrying on life almost in a normal fashion, while Gaza City has been flattened to dust in just a few days. I would disagree with that the populations of the opposing states had no thoughts of each other prior to the wars. Ukraine has always been under the thumb of Russia, while the Russians have something of an affection toward Ukraine. It is a strange relationship. The population of Gaza have also been virtual "voluntary" captives of Israel. Many had family homes and businesses in Israel and chose to become refugees when Israel was established even though they would have been allowed to stay. I had an acquaintance who was a Palestinian whose father fled his home and business while his two brothers elected to remain in Israel after the takeover. The two brothers who remained became millionaire businessmen, while the one who fled left his family in refugee camps until some of them managed to emigrate to Puerto Rico, then to the U.S. mainland where they married and attended college.
It's sad that hundreds of Israelis were killed in the Hamas attacks. So Israel will get their revenge. How many Palestinians will have to die until Net Tan Yahoo feels the score is even. Since the Palestinians are untermenchen I think about 1000 to one? I love justice.
When I think about how many Palestinians/Hamas may die I remember that there was peace over there just last week but it didn’t suit Hamas. Whatever happens to them is on them as far as I’m concerned. I don’t see it as revenge so much as elimination of an active threat in order to prevent more dead and beheaded babies. It is now a war on 3 fronts for Israel as they were under fire earlier from Lebanon, Syria and Gaza, supporters of terror one and all.

Then we got a tearful story about Iraqi soldiers in Kuwaiti hospitals dumping babies out of incubators to die on the cold hospital floor. Lies. Consider such things when watching mainstream media horror stories. 'Propaganda' from 'propagate' - to spread around. Implied is that the information might be false. So we could be talking about spreading lies. Think about who owns and controls mainstream media. Atrocities have been committed by both sides. I'm not finding any good guys. Common decency prevents media outlets from displaying the full horror of what happened in Israel at the hands of Hamas terrorists. Unfortunately that leaves room for doubters to claim that nothing happened or it wasn’t so bad. Doubters bolster the claims of Hamas wittingly or unwittingly. As I said earlier in this thread I have to be strong to see the photos but it is important to do so. It is important for the world to see the horror and condemn it if it ever to be stopped. I do believe that media will need to change their policies and show what happened in full color. I do not support equivalency between Hamas and Israel nor do I support those who pretend it exists. Just last week there was peace. We all know who broke that peace and the horrible methods they used so whatever happens to Hamas and Gaza as a result is their own fault, IMO. What do others who inhabit this forum believe? Do you see equivalency between Israel and Hamas? Who have I been posting with here?

Yeah, I heard somebody called for global Jihad tomorrow. I don't let others dictate my life, but it would probably be a good day to stay home or at least not go anywhere that you are not required to go, especially in or near big cities or large concentrations of people from the Middle East. I saw a couple attacks have taken place in California already. One was against a bakery the attackers thought was Jewish-owned, but was in fact owned by Armenian Christians. The terrorists were just inflamed with hatred and couldn't tell the difference.
A second carrier task force is moving the the eastern Mediterranean. Two carriers are not for Hamas. China and Russia appears to want the U.S. divided into so many pieces that all cannot be addressed well. We will either have to choose what fight to take on, or be defeated.
