At the bottom of the screen I think on my Profile page it has color options and I pick purple each time but it never stays,it always goes back to the original color.
I believe that would have something to do with your computer, and not with the actual forum, @Julia Curtis . I do not know why it does not stay once you choose a color. When you leave the forum website, do you sign out, close the page, or just minimize the page on your computer ? All I ever do is minimize the page and then maximize it again when I want to check the forum later. I never sign out or completely close the forum website, and that might make a difference for you as well, Julia.
When you say "It does not stay," do you mean that it reverts back each time you log in, or that it reverts back during a given session (while you are posting/browsing)? If it is fine during a given session but reverts back each time you log in, you might need to Enable Cookies for this site so that your color settings are saved on your computer. If you don't know how to Enable Cookies for this site in your browser, tell me which browser you are using and I'll see if I can scrounge up instructions.
No,I totally sign out.But it gives you options instead of green and black like it is now but it doesn't stay.
So, it probably happens when you sign out each time, @Julia Curtis . If you just stay signed in to the forum and try minimizing the window instead, then your preferences should stay there. Try it and see if that helps. If it is changing in the middle of you using the forum, then I have no idea what is causing your computer to stop using purple.
I bet if you changed your cookies for this site, those settings would be kept. I change my cookies in my browser so I'm automatically logged on to this site when I sign on to my computer and open my browser in the morning.
Not at all. But there's no guarantee it will fix it, it's just one thing to try. Which browser are you using?
The settings are different than I see in Firefox, so I'm not sure this will work. Chrome default seems to keep your cookies until you clear them. But tyring this won't hurt anything. >Open a new Tab. You can move between that Tab and this one so you can read these instructions. >Go to the new tab and click on the 3 vertical dots in the right-hand corner to display the Menu. >Select "Settings" from the Menu. Click on Privacy and Security. Click on Cookies and Other Site Data There are lots of settings here, and I don't want to mess with your existing browser security settings except for this site. I'm not gonna do a complete print screen of this page because there are so many settings. So do this: Click the Add button by "Sites that can always use cookies", and paste the forum's site in there https://www.seniorsonly.club/ If this forum's site is in "Sites that can never use cookies" then delete it. You are done. You can close the settings tab...changes save automatically. I'm not real hopeful this will work unless your browser settings had already been modified...but it's worth a try.
