I'm now a bit more focused on God's Word, found a wonderful church Sunday, going again Wednesday night. I was just praying this a.m. and thanking God my new Pastor Pat was giving his sermon on The Transfiguration, something besides the war for Israel and hamas. Sometimes I stay of one thing too long, and where I need to be most is in God's Word, praying, not necessarily in that order

Thanks for watching it @Marie Mallery I believe there is a lot of truth of good news coming through, although I am fully understanding that Israel, is no more sinless than anyone else in this world. Those that are saved by the blood of Jesus are seen as sinless before God, given the right to stand before Him but Jesus is ours, and their advocate. Without Jesus, the One and Only Way to God the Father, we are lost sheep. God doesn't find any pleasure seeing man slaughtering man, but He allows it for His reasons which I for one am no longer questioning. But I do believe in His Word, "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28 NKJV
It's just one in a string of many, but I'm starting to realize it was more about where my heart, and head, was than the churches. I feel now I am going for one reason only, well, two, to worship God with others, and learn more about God In the past I wanted to meet people, socialize, even meet a man. Now it is all different, first time I ever felt this way in a church service. I didn't judge or put any expectations on people, that's been the most amazing thing that's happened lately. They are all just like me finding their way.
She was braver than I'd been too. Denise always prove things teachers tell you,especially in todays world. God will forgive who He wants to forgive. No preacher or person knows the mind of God. We can pray for guidance. War makes all of us on edge.
All we need to be discerning is to read God's Word, ask His Holy Spirit to give us understanding. That way it is very clear if there is false-teaching coming from pastors or others, maybe meaning well, but it is not of God Himself. Many will try and derail us, satan hates God, and His own, and like I think I mentioned here before, satan is the destroyer of all that is good, but as a believer in Christ, he can't touch us, Jesus is our shield if we have asked Him into our life as our Lord and Saviour, Praise God
