I was hoping it was to when the woman and family moved out a couple of weeks ago, but not. They are still around. I just don't want to bore everyone with each raccoon encounter I have. It's getting colder at night so there won't be that many encounters. I do expect any litter come Spring though.
I could not find a short vid of guys with "Buck Fever" to post for you. Both first time and seasoned hunters sometimes get uncontrollable shakes, or they plain lock up when their quarry presents itself.
Maybe you could drop them off at the Raccoon Lodge in Brooklyn, New York. Their motto is "E Pluribus Raccoon".
I want to hear every encounter. We still need to find a way for the local government to share in the experience. Halloween may present an opportunity...
^^ What he said. We found a way to get rid of the little bandits that like to return to our pool to "make deposits." We cleaned the residue then dumped a "super shock" of chlorine overnight. I'm sure if they stepped in there, they had burning eyes and a new hair color when they left.
Oh you will definitely hear when I actually pop one with a bb. I'm so waiting to hear what it will sound like.
I shake quite a bit in my dotage and the last time I trapped a possum who was killing chicks, I missed him when I tried to shoot him in the live trap!
I try to hit them so I kill them with the first shot. I actually totally missed twice, so gave the gun to my daughter. I will have to build an old lady, moveable stand to lean the gun on for close range shots.
