Absolutely WE all have a mind and many too many, trust the very uncaring gubmint wiith your health. So many don't get that.....Beth being content with your choice is what counts for YOU. But there is so much to know about all this crap going into your bloodstream.

None here talk about working for themselves, NEED govt to work for them...grrrrrrr and govt does not give a hoot if you live or die and the more health issues the more you all buy into their drugs, legal and illegal.

What this all says is You Trust Govt and Not Yourselves....

This also brings me to my sister who trusted all the NY MS specialists who kept promising a new drug for her MS cure.....she lost her life at 68 since she trusted....Yes I believe this.

I'm not talking about government agencies; just other people who think they have the authority to run my life.

I did not want to, but got the one and done shot as my daughter was in the hospital for cancer treatment and I was told I could not enter without covid 'protection' to see her.
I attended an open air covid fair and got the shot. People passing by applauded!
    ???
What a crock. If they got the shot, they are immune to those who did not, right? Or else, why get the shot? Why care about what others did or did not do?
Oh yeah. People who got shots and booster still got covid.
Their reasoning was it was not as bad as if they had not gotten the shot.
How do they know? they got the shot!

If any of you are undecided on the issue and want to learn more, here is a link to a conference recently held in Anchorage. I think all of these speakers are doctors who were sanctioned for opposing all or some part of the vaccination program. Several of them lost their careers or jobs due their stance on the subject, so they are informed and educated on the subject but may hold different opinions than you or your provider. I particularly like Dr. Cole, a pathologist from Idaho who changed his view after seeing what was appearing in the tissue samples he was reviewing in his practice. If you are decidedly pro-vax, don't bother watching.

Actually, the vaccinated folks are now getting Covid at a higher rate than the non-vaxxed. Covid is nearly unheard of among the non-vaxxed now, but still exists in significant numbers among the vaxxed. Mandated vaccination to "protect the public" was a con, as the vaccinated people could still spread the disease even if they did not get sick themselves, so it actually endangered those who could not or would not get vaccinated.

The saddest part is that the Covid "vaccine" has turned many against all vaccines, and many who should get other vaccines are not getting them due to fear generated by the Covid shot.

Yes, they used that same "Your illness will be less severe or shorter" BS for the flu shot, also. They have to come up with something. They can't be honest & say: "The vaccine is useless, but we want you to get it anyway."

I got the flu shot every year for a couple decades, then I had a reaction that put me in the ER and I haven't had one since. I have only had the flu once since then and it was brought home by my wife who was vaccinated since she has asthma issues. The entire family got it, we got Tamiflu, and we did a Band of Brothers marathon on the fold out couch until we were better. It was a bonding experience we all remember. I have gotten vaccines I believed to be effective, but the last trip to the VA, I told them I was XX years old and done with vaccines.

Not sure it is useless. If the end game is to reduce population, it may be useful. The wars won't get everybody.

I got the last pneumonia shot but have never gotten a flu shot nor the flu. My sister keeps bringing up polio vaccines as proof that we should get shots. I do a lot of research and keep my immunity up.
I am sure a gov't will make an increased function disease that will get me but I won't take shots just because they say so.

There were lots of problems with the polio vaccine, starting with paralysis in many kids who got the first series and then actually causing polio in vaccinated kids for years later.

The initial Salk vaccines were contaminated by viral diseases since they used research monkeys to create the vaccine. The Sabin "sugar cube" vaccine wasn't troubled with contamination as far as I know, but for a number of years the only polio in the country was due to the live attenuated virus in the Sabin vaccine. They created a standard that required two or more salk "killed" vaccine prior to receiving the Sabin vaccine, but now I think they have discontinued the live vaccine altogether due to infection risks.

We got another Covid 19 vaccine this last Friday evening at Walgreens. A few weeks earlier, we got the Senior Double Dose Flu. We wanted all of the protection we could get, because of how many people we will be around in December.

However, and yes, there is a "however", the shoulder muscle we got the vaccine in has been pretty painful, especially at night when trying to sleep. Been taking Tylenol Extra Strength, but even that doesn't help much to control the pain. But, when a person is sleeping, there are muscles that can tighten up. That's what can happen after getting a shot in the shoulder.

Anyway, the good thing is, no more shots until later next year, around this time. We've already got every shot/vaccine there is for us, including Shingles and Pneumonia.

We are definitely glad that we got the latest Covid vaccine, even though the area of the injection sure got sore.

One thing was different about this last booster. A small knot swelled up where the shot was given, but only a couple of days later. It was sore to the touch but itchy. Gone in 2 days.

I think it depends almost entirely on who gives the shots. The very first covid shot was the only uncomfortable one. The girl gave the shot way up almost on top of my shoulder, maybe hit a tendon or something with the needle.

I've never had a shot of anything where my arm didn't get a little sore afterwards. I don't even count that as a side effect. I figure just a needle stuck in your arm would make it sore later.

I've been more careless about things for the last year. Seems everyone is lately.

Some claim that many of the problems that have developed with the Covid vaccines have been that those giving the injections are not properly trained. Your example of the first shot being too high on the shoulder may be an example of that. Thankfully you have no apparent after effects.
