Light rain now and a little more overnight then it gets colder and windy. I'm afraid the wind will blow off the leaves that are starting to change and fall colors will be kaput.
Down to 0 F. for the first time this season. Pretty aurora last night as well. @Tom Galty and any others from the UK, has the recent flooding affected your area? It looks like parts of Scotland got nailed pretty badly.
It has been raining parts of everyday, lately. I can't got to the north east part of the farm to see if any mischief is afoot because mud sucks off my cane tips. But here is a weather item that doesn't include blaming it on climate change. Yay. https://www.yahoo.com/news/northeast-weekend-weather-curse-nearly-171617466.html
Live in South East a little Heavy/Light rain last couple of days Temps and for next 7 days around 60F Scotland and Ireland(Cork) have had Heavy flooding.
Sittin’ on the porch after coming back from the gym yesterday, shirt off, fan going and enjoying the day. Today, not so much. I came out at around 5 a.m. with a shirt on and then at 7 o’clock I put a sweater on and now it’s about 10 and I’ve donned my winter coat.
This morning, my chickies were asking for sweaters and their water was frozen. It is sunny out but the wind is from the NW.
Night temps in the 20s F. and days in the 40s F., but no snow yet. No real cold yet either. The lowest has been about 8 F.
Million dollar concept! Crocheted sweaters for chickens! Possible ad: A warm breakfast starts with eggs laid by warm chickens.
It did not snow last night as predicted. It was 21 degrees when I awoke this morning. Now fifty and sunny.
It's 49 degrees right now, dark and gloomy with a mist of rain. Our first little taste of winter. Of course it was 88 and sunny yesterday, so welcome to Texas.
Second day of overcast and rain with temp around 50. About 1.5 in. of rain so far. Coming week to be highs in the 40s and lows in the 30s. Fall colors fading.
