I can define it. It's the Black Panthers menacingly standing at the entrance of polling places with clubs in their hands.

I heard one conservative pundit say that the MAGA people should be banned from the upcoming military draft process because they advocate for an unpatriotic political philosophy.
That was after an interview with a very flamboyant gay man said "they don't want me. If they come for me I am going to take my trailer and head for the hills. I will have everything I need except electricity and cell service. They won't be able to find me." He admitted to being a Biden voter because he thought he would get free stuff.

That would be one way to divide America. A draft would make Biden extremely unpopular unless they can convince the terrorists to directly attack us; then the MAGA people might volunteer.

Was the guy saying that the MAGA folks advocated for an unpatriotic political philosophy?

I've read several comments to the effect that many would not report if drafted due to the corrupted reasons for engaging in war. (Gee, it seems that the hippies were ahead of the curve on this one.) Those same people said that they would take up arms against an enemy on American soil. Dunno if they view enlisting as a required predicate, or if it will be Red Dawn time.

    I understand the sentiment.
After 9’11, approximately 181,500 people enlisted in the military because yes, we were attacked on American soil.
That said, a lot of people died on foreign soil after that and we have absolutely nothing to show for it other than killing the guys who planned the attack including Bin Laden.
I mean, in 20+ years, approx. 2,400 American were killed with over 20,000 wounded and billions of dollars in Afghanistan which produced a no win. nada. nothing.

The people (or aliens) in charge benefit from eternal war, and it seems that people who don't have to fight in them enjoy wars. Governments love them because wars come with additional powers and a means of distracting the public from some of the other underhanded things they are up to.

And the donors get terrific profits from the lives of others.

In the United States, Democrats, in particular, profit from war because they can always get enough Republicans on board with them when it comes to a war. At least one-third of elected Republicans would support any war against anyone, anytime, and for whatever reason. Most of them have never fought in one and none of them are at risk of having to fight in the ones they support. Everyone involved, with the exception of those fighting them, profit in one way or another, from contributions, sales, and power.

Right now, Lindsey Graham appears to be the biggest hawk. Ol' Lindsey is willing to exterminate every person on the planet as long as he doesn't go with them.

Yeah, Lindsey would go to war against the Vatican or Switzerland if someone suggested it.

It will never happen but the way to handle a lot of that would be to excuse those in Congress who have shares in any kind of company that produces machines of war, parts and ammo from voting for or against anything that pertains to armed conflicts or war.
Also, any member of Congress who entertains or receives any benefit from Lobbyists who are affiliated with companies who produce machines of war, parts and ammo should not be allowed a vote for or against actions of war or conflict.

It’s a conflict of interest and should be thought of that way.
