In my opinion she should be permanently expelled from Congress for anti American activities. She clearly promoted hate and a call to eradicate Israel of the Jews. She should also be expelled from the USA and be sent to live in Iran to enjoy the freedoms they allow women. She also promotes violence against American Jews and is pro muslin Hamas. She now is doing the old Democrat song and dance about how she is against genocide and racism. The proof is in the pudding, so to speak, with one example being the 59 year old Jewish man that was violently struck with a pro Hamas advocates bull horn and later died. Yes, just one more Jew dead at the hands of anti-Jewish and anti-American Muslim Hamas supporters. This is how genocide starts and will spread here in the USA unless we start expelling the terrorist among us. Yes, brainwashed students and other Jew haters have the right to demonstrate, but not if their actions infringe on the rights of others or sponsor anti-American activities.
I don't get the whole "censure" thing. Apparently there's not much to it. I'd prefer to see a law passed that requires members of congress to be natural-born citizens. What does a censure do in Congress? Members of Congress who have been censured are required to give up any committee chairs they hold. Like a reprimand, a censure does not remove a member from their office so they retain their title, stature, and power to vote. There are also no legal consequences that come with a reprimand or censure.
Exactly! That is why I think she should have been expelled and tried for inciting a hate crime. Censure is nothing more than voicing disapproval. At least a majority voiced a disapproval for her hate and call for genocide.
And meanwhile the Biden Administration has a task force to work against anti-Muslim hatred. He doesn't care about the Jews however, who are receiving death threats against them selves and their children daily.
A few days ago I watched an interview with Ted Cruz, I like his thoughts and I intend to buy his new book would suggest he has answers for some of the bad things going on in our country today.
If I’m not mistaken, which I doubt, a sitting representative in Congress cannot be expelled from Congress but rather, recalled by the state they represent. Thus far, it doesn’t look like her state is going to recall Tlaib (yet) but since she’s not on a committee any longer, even though she can still vote, the chances of lobbyists filling her pockets are fairly limited. As I recall, Marjorie T. Greene was also taken off of all committee assignments but even with that, she was one of the chief proponents of R. Tlaib’s censor and is also pushing for the impeachment of J. Biden so we see, being censored doesn’t remove clout but it does limit what one puts in their back pocket.
I fully approve and am proud of the 22 Democrats who voted for censure. She is a dangerous, stupid woman. I can't think of enough adjectives to express my intense dislike of this horrible woman.
