Mike Pence screwed that up for himself. Most Trump supporters thought he did a pretty good job until he didn't.
He sucks, period. If he can't be trusted to select, he can't be trusted, period. I don't even know why I bother to comment. I hope no one answers me, please. If he sucks he shouldn't hold office. Criminals shouldn't hold office. Please don't respond. Control yourselves enough to allow for a differing comment. That's all.
America is like the Titanic. We all feel it slipping into the abyss but we have no choice but to ride it to the bottom. Four more years of Trump or Biden just sounds so dismal to me.
He's young enough to wait and intelligent enough to realize that a stint as VP would make him a more viable candidate in the future, so I think he'd do it. Although I wouldn't mind having him as VP, I don't know if he would add the kind of value to the ticket that would make them more electable since he appeals to the same people as Trump does and alienates the same people Trump does. His youth might reassure anyone who is concerned about Trump's age or who doesn't want a repeat of Mike Pence.
I watched the last Republican Minor League debate last night, and, as seems to have been the case throughout, Vivek Ramaswamy is the only one who has anything unique to say. Chris Christie is a blowhard who is there solely to dump on Trump, while Haley and DeSantis were caught in a couple of major lies that probably won't be picked up on by the media, and, even if I were to believe what they had to say, the idea that they both represent the neoconservative wing of the Republican Party would be cemented in my mind, although Nikki Haley is a whole lot worse than DeSantis in that respect. With everyone talking over one another, it was hard to follow, anyhow. Christie was rarely called upon to speak, and that didn't bother me any.
It was held in Alabama, and I was reading yesterday on Twitter (by one of the Trump supporters) that a lot of Trump people went in support of Trump, even though he didn’t participate. I imagine that they were there to cheer or boo at the appropriate times, and I did hear people cheering when Ramaswamy accused the other three of asking Trump for help all this time, and now condemning him. The clip of that has been on Twitter all morning, so I listened to that, and also to Ramaswamy saying that he now believes that the 2020 election WAS stolen and J6 was a setup, after watching the new videos that have been released.
Debates are joke and not worth the watch. 1. They will say anything to Win. 2. Seldom is there mention of actual changes intended to be made. 3. Most of the debates of one, or all - bad mouthing, accusing, back stabbing, each other or those who came before them.
P.S. Not sure any president should have a name that is unpronounceable, or can not fit ledge-ably on a ballot box
Rallies are nice but I truly believe that the debates for the 2016 election together with the singular debate between Hillary and Trump is what turned the tide for Trump.
Must have been refreshing to hear someone actually make sense and not just rant on about over-traveled territory I would have watched just for the boos (that's b o o s, not with a ze ).
