I don't like ketchup on eggs, but I do like to scramble eggs with cheese, then top with salsa. Yum.

I think it's a matter of where you grow up as to what condiment you put on your hamburger. On a road trip down south we stopped for lunch and they put mustard on my hamburger I had to throw it away, mustard is for hot dogs. I had no idea different regions of the country use mustard. I smother my hamburger with ketchup, and then run it through the pile of ketchup I used to dip my French fries in, my wife accuses me of making ketchup sandwiches.

I wonder if there ever was a Country-Wide poll as to how many people put ketchup on their eggs vs who doesn't.
Also what condiment is the most popular on hamburgers.

On another note have you ever associated Christmas tree ornaments with time periods or events? Oddly one of the things that didn't get destroyed in the fire is our Christmas tree ornaments because they were under a crawl space in their protective boxes. This morning my daughter pulled them out and her and my wife as they're going through the boxes we're relating time periods with various ornaments, my wife said " these we got when we first got married", " these were my mom's and they go last on the tree and replace the tinsel" my daughter said " I remember these they were my favorite" and on and on. Just a warm and happy Christmas moment which we all need.

    Yup.

    Burgers get mustard and mayo.
    Hot dogs get mustard only.

A neighbor's kid used to put ketchup on corn.

We used to have 2 hot dog wagons (Trucks) In my area but they're both gone now. Yesterday I felt like having a hot dog, I looked online there was one with five star rating, three towns away. Took the trip and I purchase twelve dogs for my family, I take mine with just deli mustard, the Children were plain and with yellow mustard, My wife and daughter had mustard, sauerkraut, and relish.
As you can see, condiments are a personal choice there are no right or wrong.
By the way the five star rating I thought was right on.

    Mustard + onions + sauerkraut + chili +cheese
I notice that none of you got ketchup...good job!

You get bonus points for driving 3 towns away for a highly-rated hot dog. I used to work in downtown DC in the 70s and loved the hot dogs from the Sabrett carts (I'm sure you're familiar with Sabretts.) There also used to be a place that served all types of tube steaks: Best of the Wurst. So very good...

The hot dog trucks I go to all use sabretts. At home I alternate between Sabrett and Nathan's. I enjoy them best cooked on the grill occasionally we'll put them in tepid water.
About a year and a half ago I tried one called Brooklyn hot dog had to purchase them through the mail they were very expensive and came in different flavors. They were good but I still like Sabretts better. I do enjoy trying different brands but I always go back to Sabretts.

I like mustard on hamburgers and bologna sandwiches . I really like honey mustard also, not so much on a burger.

My ketchup use is limited to hamburger and French fries. My steak I like barbecue sauce, steak sauce, or a dry rub.

I like catsup on my steak. And I can duck real quick. :) And chili, mustard, and catsup on my hotdogs.

There is a little hotdog & hamburger place at Englehard called Sugar and Spice that is run by a lady who makes her own chili. It is to die for. We eat there almost every time we are down that way. If we don't go that way soon, I'm going to ask my sister if she wants to drive down there just to eat. :) It's about a 3 ½ hour drive.
