This happened in a place I’m familiar with and the way it was handled is very odd. It was all kept very hush hush for a week. The woman reported it as a home burglary and it was known that there were deaths but not who was killed. Apparently the police believed her story at first and she was actually already on the run before the community knew she was a suspect in the death of children.

It’s part of a long divorce and custody case. The oldest child survived. This is the same county where the Leticia Stauch trial took place.

Yeh, I saw the story elsewhere. It always shakes your worldview when any parent does this, but it's worse when it's their mother.

Yes. Stauch was eventually convicted and is in prison without possibility of parole.

There is a good district attorney there so this new case should be well handled once they get her back. It looks like the police may have screwed things up in the beginning. There is very little info about the initial call to the condo where it happened.
