No they just wish for global warming it just snowed in the Sahara desert the first time in 37 years http://www.indiatimes.com/news/worl...rt-for-the-first-time-in-37-years-267854.html
You have to admit its weird weather, we had the hottest summer 'ever' And now, Christmas day will be the warmest ever
Seems pretty much the same as other winters. Every winter is different than the next, but I don't see a trend. On the day of our first snow here, my Facebook memory indicated that that same day had been the day of our first snow a few years ago. Far from a hot summer, we didn't have much of a summer in 2016.
OOPS, what happened? It appears the Arctic ice is growing at record levels. If you look at the far right of this graph, you can see we suddenly have incredibly increasing minimum sea ice levels. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GDGZ0L3bQAEgzen?format=jpg&name=900x900 That Antarctic lice is also growing except for the ice that overlies volcanic activity. I hope the polar bears don't freeze! The power that be are using the same science that was used in the 1970s to prove climate cooling to now prove global warming. How stupid! https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D2cw31YUYAARJ48.jpg
I was watching a Real climatologist (as opposed to the Greta and Gore types) a couple of years ago and he said the temps will oppose and shift from pole to pole just about every year. He showed that if the Antarctic is building ice, the Arctic isn’t and visa versa the next year making it obvious that those with an agenda are cherry picking. Those building a false narrative will look at the Arctic one year and publish that it’s melting and the same thing the next year at the Antarctic. The guy I watched said it is a natural thing that has been going on for thousands of years. As I was looking at the graph you provided Don, it looks like it pretty much coincides with what I watched.
At the moment, it appear that both poles are increasing, but you would never know it from what is in the MSM. They are now using the data that was used in the 70s to show that global warming is causing dramatic cooling. In the 1970s, they were ready to blacken the ice at both poles to prevent another ice age, while now they are trying to use the same information to curtail our use of fossil fuels to prevent the globe for overheating. The entire thing appears to be cyclical and we never paid much attention before we had satellite data.
I'm sorry, but I just can't let that graph go by without a comment, because I spent a lot of my working days studying graphs. This is graphing software developed by the website realclimatescience.com (send a donation). The data points were taken roughly every 5 months. So they don't even include the highs (in winter) and lows (in summer) for every year. Then they just connect the dots like an interpolation, and string it out in a line for only years 2007- 2023. It tells you nothing, imo. What they should do is present the data superimposed for all years including highs and lows and in between, and go back farther (at least back to when Al Gore started on this subject in the 1990s. ) This is an interactive chart I made from NSDIC. The graph was only supposed to represent the minimums, not the overall sea ice amounts, but criticism well taken. Other graph sites I have seen edit the sea ice and remove the data that does not support their position. As far as I know, it isn't the case with the two graphs I posted. It usually shows the ice at lower levels than actual, and correspondingly, temps warmer than reality. From my personal monitoring of sea ice, it is at a greater extent than I have seen in many years perhaps ever, although I cannot measure the thickness. Currently, severe winds up to and over 90 mph are causing cracks in the ice, so it may not be terribly thick yet, but it is only January.
