In case you don't follow the news, the U.S. and the UK conducted airstrikes into Yemen last night. I have seen no reports of damages, but the leader of the Houthis released a statement that his wrath would now be directed toward the U.S. and he said "Let the war begin...." Iran took back an oil tanker filled with oil that the U.S. had previously stolen and seized from Iran. Iran just took their property back, but in typical American hypocrisy it is being stated that Iran seized a vessel. It was theirs to begin with and they just took it back. NATO and the West have been trying to get Russia and Iran to attack some nation so they will have an excuse to go full force into war, but so far Iran and Russia have not taken the bait. We are very courageous conducting airstrikes into little nations with little or no air defense. Russia, China, and Iran don't fall into that category. We are welcoming sleeper cells into the southern border and even providing housing and food for them. If you followed the IRA wars of years ago, most of the IRA terrorists in the UK were on "the dole" in England and that allowed them the free time to organize their attacks. We may be subject to the same thing on a much larger scale. Maybe just fear mongering, but I am uneasy for the first time about real world affairs.
I’ve been uneasy for over 3 years now. I’m surprised Biden’s weakness hasn’t caused us to be attacked at home long before now. I do think we will be before he’s out of office. Beyond that I don’t think any of this would be going on around the world if Trump was in office instead of weak Biden.
Biden's handlers might figure that a major war might keep him in office for another four years. Americans love wars.
That might be part of the plan. An anonymous source in the Australian military said they would not join the attack with the USA because there was "no plan". Some wonder if that was in part due to the absence of the SecDef and the Asst on the beach somewhere on vacation, but I think it is just Amateur Hour at the White House. Nobody was chosen for competence or ability. The appointments were all made to check Woke boxes, not for the good of the nation. As I said before, NATO and the U.S. have been setting traps for the Russians and the Iranians, but they haven't walked into them. Biden walked into the first one he came across, or whoever is calling the shots there. It is said it will take 4-6 weeks for the cells in the U.S. to get armed and plans made, so we'll see. I don't think the Houthis are much of a threat for us domestically, but ISIS, Al Qaeda, and Hezbollah are, and they are very sympathetic to the cause of the Houthis and the "anti-Zionist" war cry.
That's how it is when you want to be the world's policeman. It fuels the need for armaments and keeps American arms manufacturers busy making money and creating jobs. War is our most important product. We lose some servicemen and women once in a while, but it's good for the country in balance. We just love going out there and pissing off half of the world, the weaker half anyway.
