I just read that for every 71,000 people who arrive in a state, that state gets another representative, so all of those sanctuary cities were probably named that just so they could have another representative in Congress, certainly not because they wanted to be overwhelmed with homeless illegals going there.

Thank you for posting this, @Vada Bloom , and it is something to think about , for sure. If they decide that it is against the constitution, then we are one step closer to people being able to move onto privately owned property and live there if they want to do so.

I see no reason for these homeless people to live along the city sidewalks, and I believe that cities can come up with a better alternative than this , if they decide that homeless people can camp on public property.
Moving the homeless to city parks is much better than leaving them on the sidewalks downtown. There are no bathrooms or showers on city streets, but there would at least be running water and bathrooms at the city parks.

However, the government has pretty much always made the decision of when people are allowed to enter public lands, like the national parks that Obama closed one year, just because he could.
I think that the cities need to step up and deal with the problems, at least as much as they are able to. However, this is a problem that is escalating at a rapid pace, as more and more illegals are allowed into this country every day, over and over.

We had a homeless problem in America that has needed attention for many years now; but with millions of more people here, who have no family/friends/relatives that can help them, and not even speaking the English language for the most part, this whole situation has maybe become completely unmanageable, no matter what we do.

NYC is now overrun with unlicensed street food vendors and little kids selling candy at subway stations. Just like the vaxes (and just to spit in our faces), they are not subject to our laws, regulations and mandates.

The latest I've heard today is about Chicago and they consider themselves "santuary state" are overrun with migrants and have buses full of them to try to keep them warm. It's all a human crime....These people had illusions of coming here and their lives would be so improved...they are starving, cold, sick and whatever else is killing them. Can all this be better than their homelands????

It's all designed to disrupt "Normal."
People will beg the government that abuses them to "do whatever it takes" to fix it.

Regarding it being a "human crime"...those who are behind this are incapable of recognizing us as being human. Sociopaths and narcissists only see themselves...and it's a distorted reflection.

Added to that, the illusion that most of the migrants “had” comes from those entities who, in order to make money, tell the South American masses that the milk and honey in this land is all free.
The coyotes make upward of 5-10K to lead or transport illegals across the border where they would all be well taken care of and instantly find jobs to make them rich.

The sad part is that this administration isn’t telling those who are still on the south side of the border anything different than the coyotes do.

I hope all the big cities full of homeless people and migrants have figured something out. It’s -7 in Denver this morning and the cold will be moving east no doubt. Maybe more children will be evicted from their schools in order to house the homeless.

The uproar in Ecuador is predicted to make matters even worse. Drug gangs fleeing the government and those refugees running from the drug gangs will all be coming over in large numbers. Whoopee!!!

Oh, no... the "homeless" are on their own. It's the ILLEGALS who are getting the schools and hotel rooms.

Recent year's homeless are strongly from job losses from covid lockdowns, etc....

And Unhoused is the latest label given for many.

I heard some radio talk from some and no drug issues SO FAR no jobs...

    Unexpected Visitor Last Night

About 7:30PM my doorbell rang, highly unusual....so I made it over to the door turned on light outside and said "who's there"...and the person mumbled something...so I cautiously cracked the door open and this strange woman was standing there and started to tell me a story that she lived in the front at one time and I said I never saw you blah blah blah....and then I said I need to close my door and she asked for a soda and I said I have none...

So I'm thinking about this and called my on site mgmt person and he told me a homeless woman is trying to sleep on the porch in the front and brought her "things" in and was then walking around the bldg and rang my door bell. It never entered my mind that she was homeless SOUL and now it all fits... This City is getting worse and will there even be REPAIR of it and all that has happened and happening......

So I keep my door locked FOR SURE and more cautious than ever.....Very Very Sad way so many are living..... and in such a highly industrialized world...

I'm hearing this morning, the woman slept on the front porch last night and this morning the mgmt attempted to get her to leave and she would not, so police were called....no arrest but they told her to Move On.....

The stories I hear from around the U.S. on the horrors of what is happening. Many/Most are Drugged up and don't want to Clean Up as they are given every chance to by the social services.....
