Nope. I didn't know it existed. Is it like "The Death of Seattle?"? I lived in Minneapolis for a while, and I loved the place. I also lived near San Francisco and enjoyed that as well, but I wouldn't live in either one now. It is so sad to see wonderful places intentionally ruined. Do you live near the Twin Cities @Andrea Lindsey ?
No, I didn't know there was a Seattle film, I'll look for it. This Minneapolis one is about how the George Floyd incident started riots that brought down the police force. It also talks about Chauvin's trial and basically said Floyd died from a drug overdose and not from choking. I'm not from Minneapolis but my husband's family is. It got so bad they moved away.
Here's the second documentary (1.5 hour video) I see that it is age-restricted so can't be viewed here. The title is "The Fight for the Soul of Seattle."
Wow. I just watched the Seattle one. Thanks, Beth. It was mainly depressing, but the video ended with the story of how well they're dealing with the problem in Rhode Island. Good for them! I like that they're not calling it a homeless problem but a drug addiction problem -- which it is.
