I had a late delivery like that from Walmart a couple months ago, late twice, lost, replaced, finally found, delivered and the troubled delivery was free. I hope Amazon does that well and you get the knitting needles free, Yvonne. Public hanging for mail and package theft would be ok by me but it's about to get worse in Canada. No doubt the blue states here will think this is such a good idea that they will jump right on board with it. Canadian police warn that posting videos of alleged package thieves could be ‘violation' of their privacy https://www.foxnews.com/media/canadian-police-warn-posting-videos-alleged-package-thieves-violation-privacy Apparently the residents attempts to protect themselves with cameras are impeding the criminals right to steal. Maybe the public hangings should be reserved for the officials who make rulings like that one.
Exactly. I order bits like packets of seeds or what have you, and I have a monthly "subscription" to stuff like k-cups, soap, etc. that are each treated as an individual order. I have to say that all the Prime shipping pays for my Prime membership and then some.
I hadn't thought of "subscription" deliveries not hitting the Free Shipping minimum. That would be a nasty surprise.
Yep, a bomber sent a package to a target, but it was stolen by a pair of package thieves, and when it was opened justice was served.
Trudeau has actually been referred to as a Poster Child for the WEF. (Biden sure is) The plan is to destroy countries and societies and then rebuild them to the WEF's liking. Lawlessness is a big part of it. Everyone doing as they please without consequences. Good way to institute martial law. It is Funny some officials, here, who were for defunding the police have become victims of things like car jackings and are now reconsidering their positions. Sanctuary cities, like New York are starting to close their doors. Hope it is not too late.
Why don't we hold these people accountable?!!! Why do we have to go out of our way to get our own property?
More weirdness from the Postal Service. Jan 5 I ordered some malt powder from an Amazon 3rd Party Seller. This is the tracking status history from the USPS website: Jan 11 Arrived at Portland OR facility --------Delivery estimate was then moved up to Jan 13 (from Jan 16) Jan 13 Informed Delivery Digest email said Out For Delivery Today --------The package did not arrive (I live in Virginia) Jan 14 Arrived at Chicago IL facility Jan 15 In Transit to Next Facility, Arriving Late Jan 16 ??? Jan 17 ??? [edit to add: I got another status email tonight (Jan 17): In Transit to Next Facility, Arriving Late There is no ETA and no indication exactly (or approximately) where it is.] The interesting thing is this is the first time that an Informed Delivery Digest email has been in error for saying a package is out for delivery that day. I have had letters show up a day or two later. And I've also had packages get delivered without ever appearing on the Informed Delivery Digest. But I have never had a package status say it's on the mailman's truck and not have it arrive that day. I always assumed the Informed Delivery Digest (letters & packages to be delivered that day) was driven by local post office events (like physical items being scanned upon arrival), but apparently I was wrong.
I received my routine evening status email: In Transit to Next Facility, Arriving Late This is Day Four of being In Transit. I may reach out to Amazon for a refund. This thing is stuck in USPS limbo.
Not a USPS issue, but just to button this up... I just got a refund. The seller is brand new, with a Cairo address. He printed the shipping label on a Friday, and the package did not get in the hands of the Portland OR post office until the following Thursday. And now it seems to be lost. Funny how I never buy anything from EBay without checking out the seller's reputation, yet for all the stuff I've purchased from Amazon (and from Walmart), I have never once paid attention to who I'm buying it from. And now I gotta wait until I get a minimum order together to replace this.
I never noticed the following oddities until I went to reply to your comment, Don. This is the seller that is linked to my order: Link to Seller (Sarrii) Profile His storefront only has 8 items, none of which include the diastatic malt powder: Athletic socks; women's athletic pants; elbow pads for biking; travel mug; coconut puree; water bottle; fry spatter screen; reusable straws. Amazon's product page shows the seller as being BSP_INC: This seller, too, has a weird array of apparel, cosmetic and food products. Storefront I reported this Seller switch via the Product Page. And in this instance, reviewing the Seller Profile listed for the product would have been meaningless...if, in fact, Sarrii was the seller (which I doubt.)
I continue to get that message from USPS, and cannot stop it. When you go to the Tracking page, you can sign up to get text and/or email updates for that package. It doesn't even have to be your package...if you have a Tracking Number, you can sign up for notifications. But there's no place to turn the notification off...there's only a place to sign up. Notifications stop once the package is Delivered. So as long as this package is in their system and undelivered, I shall be getting my regular evening email that it's In Transit. But I don't believe that it is. I wonder when these things get cleaned up.
