Best ever, marrying wife I have now.
Bad ever, marrying my first wife twice.
Best choice, again, marrying wife I have now.
Bad one, again, marrying my first wife twice.
Best choice, getting involved with professional rodeo
Bad choice, giving up the horse, tack, roping. However, age definitely plays a part in that, along with hip replacement and two rotator cuff surgeries.

    1. waiting to have children long enough to be sure we would stay married.
    2. having only 3 children.
    3. waiting to get a job until my children were all grown.
    4. saving money so that we could build our house without getting too deep in debt.

Bad choice... not buying the adjoining land when we bought our land. We could have bought it dirt cheap. Now it's worth a lot more. We paid $1000 an acre. Now it's worth ten times that.

    Not making better investment decisions
Not realizing at 25 that life would change so much and affect me in many ways
For some reason this is all I can come up with today

I have to agree with this. I had no idea I was gonna live this long, or that there would be so many ups & downs. And I did not start saving until later in life.

It's funny, the only thing I was gonna say I might "redo" is not having kids...but that requires reliance on another human being. Sometimes the "what ifs" are better left as theories and not realities. And children are not cheap to raise. I cannot imagine doing it on your own.

I know that things in this world have never been easy, but it sure seems that as we "progress," more and more people are shoved into untenable circumstances...with finances usually being the sword hanging over our heads. My financial life has been a roller coaster driven by my single-wage-earner career. While we can effect our chances, we cannot guarantee outcomes. Luck, timing and circumstances play large roles.

    Best was my first husband.
Other good was buying my farm.
Worst was worrying too much when kids were young and stressing them out.

    Best
having the courage to pack up and leave where I was born raised …with 3 little kids ..no money …no support ….ex was in jail

That involved moving to an area 500 km away ( where I’d never been )

Never returning to my “ home town “

    Eventually buying my own home

    WORST

The very worst of the worst

Marrying someone I didn’t have any feelings for just to get away from my alcoholic parents .

just prior to leaving the town , I met my father …who was going to help me “ escape from the town “ to better my life
Then he was shot and killed a couple of weeks latter .
