None comes to mind this morning. However, it's a case of waking up with a tune in your head, that is stuck on a loop. LOL! This morning it's "Do Re Mi" from the "Sound of Music". Nostalgia, I believe it, as it's a film made a king time ago. Very sad to hear that Dane Julie Andrews lost her wonderful signing voice in a botched throat operation...
I did the same with my munchkins. Once a choir girl always a choir girl... My Papa sang all sorts, so I got to learn from him. Mother and sibling were tone-deaf. Maternal grandmother sang in Latin for years. I was soprano to begin with and I still can on a good day, but I became more alto over the later years. Especially, since I quit smoking 15 years ago...
Much cognates on the quitting cigarettes first of all, It was my mother who was the talented one in our family, she could play the piano and sing. She married late in life at 23 and was a night club performer before that in Georgia and Florida. She could go from Strauss to jerry Lee Lewis in an instant, very talented pianist. I was so hoping one of the grandkids would learn since mine kids didn't have the opportunity to learn music, first husband deserted us so @Jake Smith took on a ready-made family.
