The park I walk in is surrounded by mountains. In warm weather, there are many snakes. Here's a friendly one I took with me on my walk. He was climbing into the playground (behind me) & scaring people who didn't know he was non venomous.
I sent him to the other side of the park away from coyotes - that also roam there. And I encouraged him to hurry up before a hungry coyote saw him.
I don't remember seeing a snake with those markings. I don't touch them, grew seeing snakes in woods in our lake and many lakes, rivers in Georgia but never handled them.
I had a malmute crossed with a german shepherd. So much hair it was like cleaning up guinea pigs rolling down the hardwood hall way every day.
