The largest single spending bill in history has passed the house with nobody reading it. It was dropped a 3AM and voted on today. The bill spends 1.2 trillion dollars in a single bill. It defends the Korean border, the Jordanian border, the Guiana border, but none for the U.S. border. $500 million dollars in benefits for illegal immigrants was included. All but 22 Democrats voted for it and 100 Republicans voted for it, demonstrating the Uniparty concept. There is almost nothing included for the American people while dumping all our resources into the pockets of foreigners. Speaker Johnson has betrayed his oath and violated his promises, so he may be removed. We are all being betrayed as U.S. firms lay off American workers to hire illegals, and rural towns and cities are being deliberately destroyed.

This country is in so much trouble, if there was a safer place to go I think I would. I really NEVER thought Mike Johnson betray us but if you guys saw that he did, I believe you Marjorie has more courage than any woman I know up there in DC. We can't even trust our own anymore
He is beyond sick, everyone knows it, and all this stuff is being done because he is not in control, but even if he was, he'd be joining them in their efforts to destroy America. God please help President Trump, and all those that believe in our Constitution and Laws. I think it will be interesting to see how many of our politicians start to jump ship and go with the Left just to save their own bacon
I hear you Jake, I'm just at a loss to know what to say, I just can't believe the things that are happening but I think it's been man's/woman's destiny pretty much. Every other great nation has fallen, just never thought it would be my own. I accuse others of losing hope, and now I am.
You're right, all we can do is hang on, and hope things change, before it's too late. I'm not so sure it will, from what I've seen over the last few years now. It's been so unbelievable to me.
There has been talk from supposedly leaked sources that Joe was on stimulants for the State of the Union, and that produced the angry rant we witnessed. He is scheduled for events between 10 AM and 4 PM, as he goes to bed early according to reports and sleeps late. Since he is running for Congress from Pennsylvania, I guess things are looking up.. He has promised to sign the Omnibus, i.e., covers everything Democrats want, Bill, he is setting the record for government spending the likes of which the world and the nation have never seen even at the height of WWII. Now, however, most of the money is going for causes outside this country and not in its defense.
I don't know what, if anything can be done @Denise Evans. All the stuff that is happening is unprecedented. There is spending in the bill for full-term abortions reportedly, and the Democrats are trying now to impeach Trump before he is elected. The craziness is incredible. The folks in New York are trying to commit financial suicide in their attempts to seize Trump's assets. They are bending and breaking every law and precedent in their fear of one man. I cannot understand that level of hatred. The Nazis in Ukraine are worth supporting with our money, but Trump needs to be destroyed even though he has apparently not broken any laws, at least he has never been convicted despite all the attempts. I listened to a real estate investor recently, and he said that what they are doing , or attempting to do, to Trump will destroy the financial system in the U.S. Perhaps that is what they want. AOC likes to move jobs away form her district but they re-elect her, so I guess they want no jobs in New York City. Anyway, the investor said that when they can go back and resurrect a deal that has already been closed and done, it is essentially and ex post facto decision and nothing is safe from prosecution in this country, or at least in New York State.
@Don Alaska - what news source did your info come from? I ask because when I looked it up on other sites there was a different breakdown of where the money was going. I read most of it as on defense. Sigh, they all lie so much hard to believe them or anything anymore.
Hoping that I’m not talking out of school, but I do not think that the U.S. has that kind of money. I believe we have to borrow it which means that we’ll be paying billions in interest which also means that We the People will have to face higher taxation. Businesses will either fold or outsource to a business friendly country and the eventual outcome will be to default on the debt and go bankrupt once again. And to that, I do wonder, since countries just do not loan trillions of dollars without some kind of collateral involved, how much of the U.S. has been promised as collateral?
No we certainly don't have that kind of money. The interest on the debt has already passed the entire defense budget and will soon pass the entire income of the national government. The money people say--and I must admit I don't completely understand it--that the dollar is failing, so the have to keep as much as possible outside the country to keep hyperinflation at bay. That is, I guess, why the BRICS Alliance is such a threat. If people internationally don't need dollars anymore, they will all flood back into the country and inflation will skyrocket to Weimar Republic or Zimbabwe levels. We are already seeing some of that as China and other countries buy up our land, and resources.
