"Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)" is a song written and recorded by American country music artist Toby Keith. The song was written in late 2001 and was inspired by Keith's father's death in March 2001, as well as the September 11 2001 attacks on the United States later that year. It was released in May 2002 as the lead single.

I remember when he was putting out, hit after hit. I did not know he was doing, most of the writing.

After compiling the retrospective double album Stevie Wonder's Original Musiquarium I in 1982, which included four new recordings alongside the cream of his post-1971 work, Wonder composed the soundtrack music for the film The Woman In Red, which included his biggest-selling single to date

"I Just Called to Say I Love You" is a ballad written, produced, and performed by American R&B singer and songwriter Stevie Wonder. It was a major international hit, and remains Wonder's best-selling single to date, having topped a record 19 charts.

Steve Perry was a principal songwriter for most of Journey's songs throughout his tenure with the band, as well as his solo efforts. These efforts led to a nomination to the Songwriter's Hall of Fame 2020.

Steve Perry is quite a Pop Song Composer, both for his projects and for Journey. Perry tended to push Journey toward a more “Commercial” sound. Here are SOME of the songs that Steve either completely composed or was a co-composer with another member of the band:

Anyway You Want It / Don’t Stop Believin’ / Faithfully / Lights / Loving Touching Squeezing / Open Arms / Send Her My Love / Stone In Love / When You Love A Woman / Who’s Crying Now

As I said - this is a list of just some of his songs. Not bad, quite a few hits.

Then there’s some great hits that he composed for his own solo records, the least of which are “Oh, Sherrie” and “Foolish Heart”
