Well, right now, my SIL (wife's older sister) has a very bad cold and lost her voice and at age 80, that's not good. She can't get the Booster or the Senior Double-Dose Flu shot. For us, we want to be as safe as possible. The newest Booster is specifically for 65 and older folks. And, since we are both Diabetic II, our immune system isn't the best.
Does the SIL take care of her OWN immune system, take Vit C,Zinc and so many more natural things for the world to take than load their bodies with unapproved DRUGS, and the FDA loves loves loves their drugs they supposedly approve.....bull is what they are. The pusher of the covid jabs are FULL OF LIES, and need people like you Cody...... I have NOT had a cold or flu or god forbide a socalled vaccine for 40 yrs and I beat your SIL by 5 yrs.... And being diabetic is more reason to do so much on your own....... And no doubt all the VA knows is to push their bosses drugs, unless there are some wise vets who have learned how to support themselves....and I'd hope there are ... The GOVT's LIES are so so so so DEEP...
A good friend of mine died 'of covid' after getting the shots. He was one of the first to die of covid and, as such, made the newspaper headlines. We still had a newspaper back then. The thing was they said he died 'of covid' and not 'with covid'. They didn't mention that he had a blood cancer and his wife had recently died in a car crash. I have been through a spousal death and I could have just given up from that alone! We (family) are up on our vitamin d3/k2, zinc, vitamin c with rutins...We take care of ourselves. I'm with you @Joy Martin. If you are vaccinated, are you not immune to the illness. Why can they try to force us to take the vaccines if those that want it can get the vaccine? We have questions that will not be answered and the pharma companies have a law written and signed making them immune to any negative aspect of their products!
We don't really care what anybody says about the vaccine, we are still getting the newest one. If my VA doctors recommend me to get it, which they have, I will get it. There have been way to many of the elderly that have died from Covid and there were those that didn't have any underlining medical problems and still died. For those that don't want to get it, for whatever reasons, that's entirely up to you. However, if trying to convince someone not to get, could be a very wrong thing to do. It's every individual's choice. My BIL (wife's younger brother) was told by his PCP not to get the last Booster and he was sick for almost a month. When he visited his PCP, the PCP told him that he was wrong for telling him not to get the Booster. Nobody can stop anyone from going into a grocery store when they are sick or even going to a restaurant.
On the other hand, my wife and I haven't had any of them, and we're just fine. As you say, it's your business, just as choosing not to vaccinate was our business. It never should have been made anyone else's business.
I was just going to do a PS, if I haven't already. For the moment we live in a free country. It didn't seem so in 2021. But that was just a trial run by the WEF and WHO to see if they could take our sovereignty. They might win.
My friend was just telling me that an older neighbor who lived in our bldg but has moved and we were not sure if she did the jabs or not and now he's telling me she's had a bout with throat cancer and she did get the shot and a couple boosters.....now she's dealing witht he cancer stuff and she's WOKE up some and connecting the dots of it all....she is a hard core NY transplant and NY is a deep blue as we know.
How I handle it: I chose not to get any Covid or Flu shots. I never have & never would tell anyone not to get any vaccine; in fact I drove elderly friends to get their vaccines because they wanted them. They knew about my choice & they were comfortable with it. When people asked me why I didn't get vaccinated, I explained why - which is not the same as telling them not to get vaccinated. As I've said before, criticizing others who make a different choice than they made indicates a lack of confidence in their choice.
I would not criticize anyone who got or did not get the Covid shots. As long as it was their choice and not forced upon them by employers or others. The military is now sending letters of apology to those who were forced out of the service by vaxx mandates. Them Covid vaxx mandates are no longer necessary. From what I have dread, the #4 booster seems to be the one linked to cancer. I don't think it is known whether it is the #4 shot itself or the cumulative effects of 4 shots.
From my previous medical experience, IOW, EMT and working for a Senior Heathcare Company, different people react differently to any vaccines. We have got the Shingles vaccine, every year the Senior Double-Dose Flu vaccine and every one of the Covid 19 vaccines/Boosters.
