It said I had 50 but could only pull up 2. No big deal just thought I'd let you know. Maybe because we haven't visited the site in a couple months? Just letting you all know, I'm not ignoring anyone.
When you click on the alerts, it will open a little box, and at the bottom left of the box, it says “Show all”. Only a few can show in the box, which is why you do not see all of your alerts, @Marie Mallery . If you click on the show all, you will get the full list.
The website is temporarily unable to service your request as it exceeded resource limit. Please try again later. Why does this keep coming up this morning on this this site? @Ken Anderson or someone
I saw it temporarily this morning but, after refreshing my browser, all was well. So I wouldn't worry about it.
I get that every once in a while on random websites, Hedi. As Jenna said, try refreshing your browser. Does it keep popping up in the middle of a session (even after you've logged on)?
March 21st, I had 2 missed 'alerts' from a member, one quote and a tag. Haven't seen her since just saw the post a few minutes ago, hope she didn't think I was ignoring her. Not blaming the sight, I do understand lots of web problems going around too that affects everything.
The Email Alerts are imperfect, but I've yet to knowingly have any missing from the Alerts list on the website. I know the List only keeps a finite number of Alerts, and then they fall off. Right now I see Alerts as far back as noon Monday.
Seems what we have here, is failure to communicate. that's ok,just makes it that more interesting. Good mental exercise before I try to reply to Ivans thread.
If someone replies to a thread you are Watching, and you've not changed your default account settings, you will receive an email Alerting you to that Reply. There is also an Alert notification at the upper-right part of the screen that--if there are Replies you have not read--Alerts you to them. There would be a number telling you not only of how may unread Replies there are to your Watched threads, but also how many Likes there have been to your comments since the last time you looked. Hover Over (or Click on) "Alerts" and it will show you the Threads that have been Replied to (or that have been Liked) as well as who Replied/Liked. Click on them to go to the Thread.
