I am voting for @Jake Smith to get the tractor !
When I had one, I loved it, and could do so many thing with it. Mine was an old 9N tractor and has the small plow for snow, and a little platform that went on the back and I could use that to move stuff around with.

It was after my folks had passed away, and i was living in their old house (which had sat empty for quite a few years) and trying to clean up the overgrown yard, and trim trees. That old tractor really helped, and then was even more help that winter clearing snow out of the driveways.

You can see how overgrown the trees were, and a lot had to be cut down or trimmed back, and all the wood had to be moved.

Ynonne tractors aren't that good with vines under trees, I like to keep the trees, They are very expensive.
He does check out Greig list now and then.
No snow here but I'm sure we could find good use for one.

Our gardens are still under snow. The little greenhouse is cleared off, but the big greenhouse is still snow-covered and we have to take the snowmachine over to it every day now. We have several of the beds in the greenhouses planted with greens (lettuce, spinach and such) and they are covered with snow that we have to renew every few days. The weather is above freezing pretty consistently during the day now, so the snow is dwindling rapidly. Soon there will be mud everywhere. We are down to about a foot or so of snow.

Thanks, Yvonne, I need one but must find what we can afford. The last one I found the Lady called me back to tell me it was sold to a Lady South of here, and she was so sorry. :( The way the cookie crumbles. Your nice photo looks like you had plenty to do clearing it up.

My squash plants are about to take over the pool deck. I'm trying to figure out where to move them to. You can also see some of the potatoes in black grow bags, plus the tomatoes and cucumbers in the raised beds.

I think your backyard garden looks very nice; all fresh and green! The plants look happy relaxing around the pool. I know I would! :D

Thanks! I've been sitting out there in a lounge chair in the sun for about 20 minutes a day while the weather is cool and nice. Once June rolls around the garden will be done and it will be hotter than Hades out there. :D

Last fall I bought a set of eight of those red planters. Thanks! I had forgotten about them. Although I am not sure it is time to put them out yet. The buds on the trees are only just starting to swell.

I'm really enjoying these self-watering type planters, Mary. I can never be sure if top-watering is "too much or not enough."
