Greats songs and movie. I taught my kids and later grandkids how to sing with this song. At least the ones who could sing anyway,.

 

Saw this band at a teen dance in early 60s,I just realized why the band was name Sam The Sham, Pharaohs, the lead singer was Arab.



This is the way they were dressed but at the time I'd never even heard of Arabs, just another costume Like Paul Revere and the Raiders,

 

This song was written nearly 60 years ago.

Alot of vloggers have reacated to it on you tube.
Some understand it almost straight away .

Others like this girl dont understand it till the end.
