What will the Biden Administration be willing to do about this other than try to keep Netanyahu from doing anything about it?

Iran has threatened both US and UK assets. Jordan and the UK were both involved in shooting down drones and missiles last night. I have read or heard on news that Saudi Arabia supported the action against Iran. I can't point to a source but it wouldn't surprise me. It seems likely that several countries over there would be tired of living under Iranian terror and threats.

Under Trump the world gained the Abraham agreements between Israel, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, and Sudan. Trump froze Iranian assets to the point they didn't have money to continue aggression. Biden unfroze those billions in assets and allowed Iran to begin selling oil. https://www.theguardian.com/busines...ed-oil-is-booming-as-the-us-turns-a-blind-eye

On the other hand what did Biden do to prevent this? He went to the beach on vacation and before he left, said don't. Well, they did. This is Biden's creation or that of the administration that runs the senile old man.

Biden's handlers reversed that in the first week, I think. I don't know that Biden's brain is even capable of knowing what his policies are, let alone formulating them. I'd be surprised if they even told him what his policies are.

There are videos online from Minot, ND of B-52s being loaded with a lot of weapons, mostly cruise missiles I think. We are lining up refueling planes over the western U.S. for some reason. Russia has moved a warship into the eastern Mediterranean reportedly and Russia also broadcasted some coded message supposedly to their subs. I think Israel didn't retaliate today due to a weather system over the Persian Gulf that was very active with lightening and heavy rain. I don't know if that is typical for this time of year there or not.

I wonder what will happen tomorrow.

Well, now Israel has responded with an almost non-attack on Iran. Videos of the area supposedly attacked in Iran by Israel shows no damage. Israel did not show videos in like fashion. Apparently Israel expected an attack by Hezbollah and were surprised by an attack directly from Iran. One commentator said that the direct attack from Iran demonstrated that Iran no longer really fears the U.S. I hadn't thought about that. I know that much of the world now views us as impotent since we elected a buffoon as leader and the problems within our military are now well know. I wonder what, if anything, will happen now.

Israel has now attacked Beirut and Teheran. Apparently Netanyahu got the okay for this when he was in the U.S. Conveniently, there was an attack in the Golan Heights to provide an excuse for this. Probably this means any "hostages" that may still be alive have now been condemned. I assume the U.S. military will be in the fight, and perhaps enabled this attack on Teheran since Israel may not have the resources to do this. I don't know if Trump okayed this, but I would have to assume he did since there was a meeting in Mar Lago, and Biden may have been reticent to do this but he has been pushed aside now. Ironic if Obama is behind this as he gave the Iranians a lot of money with which to finance terrorism and armaments.

I wonder where this will go?

Lindsay Graham has introduced a resolution that essentially would take the U.S. to war with Iran if it attacks Israel. That is as close to a declaration of war against Iran supposeldy for developing nuclear weapons...which Obama enabled in part by releasing planeloads of cash. Biden then helped them along by unfreezing their assets and easing sanctions. Direct war with Iran is something more sensible warmongers like G. H. Bush. We had troops in Iraq and Afghanistan to sandwich Iran and control them. Biden then surrendered in an ignominious fashion. We'll see what happens. Will Biden know what he is signing?

Reportedly Israel has turned the cell phones in Lebanon into small bombs by exploding the batteries in said phones. The Iranian ambassador to Lebanon was injured and many others are reported to be casualties of this. It was done in preparation for the invasion of southern Lebanon by the IDF. Supposedly this was done by turning off the thermal regulation of the battery inside the phone allowing it to overheat and explode in flames. I don't know how this would be done. Perhaps those of you who are more tech savvy have a clue about this. It was supposedly targeting Hezbollah, but I can't see how that would be done without taking out civilians in large numbers as well.

Makes you wonder what would happen if such a thing were turned against the U.S. or Europe.

I saw that comment, but I wonder if it is true or just a way to ease our minds on the matter. Do old-style pagers have lithium-ion batteries? I thought they used Ni-Cad. I don't think Ni-Cads explode. Maybe...I don't know. Perhaps more info will be issued at a later date. The attack in the 1990s was a single phone that had been booby-trapped and was triggered a few seconds after the phone was answered. Maybe all the pagers that exploded had small bombs planted and it wasn't the batteries at all.

I have no personal knowledge about the tech of blowing up phones or pagers but there seem to be quite a few people who think it was pagers. Maybe time will tell for sure. I just like the idea of outsmarting terrorists by doing it that way and there are quite a few people who support that theory.

Things have progressed to a second phase with exploding equipment for terrorists.

Walkie-talkies and even solar devices are exploding, some at funerals of the terrorists that were killed yesterday in pager explosions.

Maybe terrorists might want to take a little break from their profession.

There's more about the exploding pagers at this lnk. Apparently they were made in Hungary.

Some are calling this the biggest terrorist attack of all time itself. The Israelis, in doing this, are injuring and maiming not only the Hezbollah people, but any who are in the vicinity, including innocent children. If Hezbollah had done this to Israel, they would be screaming about how nasty the "terrorists" are since the damage also injured civilians.

Sure, anti-Israel countries will use this to attack them not mentioning the attacks that Hezbollah made on Israel first. Maybe Hezbollah and it's sponsoring country, Lebanon, should have thought about that before they did this. The Israeli football players were civilian children as well. Since the Oct. attack on Israel Hezbollah has fired many rockets into Israel, nearly every day according to one article in The NY Times.

Israel says Hezbollah rocket kills 12 at football ground, vows response

JERUSALEM/BEIRUT, July 27 (Reuters) - A rocket attack on a football ground in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights killed 12 people including children on Saturday, Israeli authorities said, blaming Hezbollah and vowing to inflict a heavy price on the Iran-backed Lebanese group.

Hezbollah denied any responsibility for the strike, the deadliest in Israel or Israeli-annexed territory since the start of the conflict in Gaza.
The attack sharply escalated tensions in the hostilities which have been fought in parallel to the Gaza war and has raised fears of a full-blown conflict between the heavily armed adversaries.

    ---

We see a lot of people drawing an equivalency between Israel and the terrorist countries that surround it. There really is no equivalency. Israel will stop when the terrorists stop, not before.

Israel is surrounded by terrorists. They fight back when they are attacked. They can give back more than they get or they can give up. If Lebanon does not want to be struck in return they should stop attacking Israel first.

Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East and it stands between us and Iran. If it were not there Iran would have attacked a lot more countries by now, maybe the US. We should never forget that while Iran sees Israel as the little satan they see us as the great satan.

Batteries across Lebanon are reportedly exploding this morning. No data on how this is happening, but there are reports of radios, solar systems with lithium batteries and even a few EVs have reportedly exploded. I don't knw how reliable these reports are, but if this is so, it sheds doubt on the reports of explosives being placed in the devices, as these have been manufactured in various places, even though the pagers originally targeted have not been pinned own as to site of manufacture as far as I know. The brand is Taiwanese, but the company says they were made in Hungary. The Hungarian company says they don't manufacture and just distribute devices made elsewhere. It looks like this stuff is coming from everywhere, but the common factor seems to be the battery which, I believe, were made in China. Taiwan has sent police to search the manufacturing facilities of the company in question. I wouldn't want to be in a Tesla when THAT battery exploded!
