Yeah, not sure if she still lives there either, but knew she did. We got into the low 20s a couple of times this winter but never -30 F, that would be freezing for sure. We shop once a month too, which works for us. I read that mosquitoes are worse in cold climates than they are in Southern climates. Not sure but bugs are bad anywhere, IMO. Glad you're doing good.
Yeah, having lived in both climes, mosquitoes are worse here than in Florida or other parts of the South, but you can have them year-round, while we only have them from ~May to ~September. We don't have Aedes or Anopheles though, which cannot overwinter here.
The ticks last summer, were worse than I've ever seen them, I think we need some snow, to kill them out, I guess.
Marie, I hope I will be back sometime in the future because I really did enjoy you and all the nice people in SOC. I have on occasion reviewed some of the chat room threads without signing in. I have been in a negative frame of mind, because of this it's not just the chat room I stayed away from I haven't been talking much to my family & friends also.
I was gonna say "Fellow curmudgeons, UNITE!" But we don't even want to be around each other. We feel what we feel for a reason.
@Tony Page- question- Why are you avoiding people? What brought on this negative frame of mind? If depression, um you may need some help Tony. Please do not let this get out of hand.
Tony thank you for letting us know your ok. I know how that can happen, I'm not exactly a fan pf most people, including some family at times. I just try not to let it bother me now as much. Hope to see you back soon, take care.
