Oops............ I meant to say ours is 11 months old, not 10... He is still with a cone on his head and every day he is getting more active.. Yes we have some pills to give him to calm him down a bit, but I don't like doping him up with medication to calm him down.. After-all, he is a puppy and sure acts like one..
Maybe you should of got 2 dogs? Theh he could have a playmate,, and let them play together,, Do you take him out for walks every day? that might help him to calm down some ,,after some nice long walks,, or take naps together,,LOL
Louise.. 2 dogs are out of the question... NO WAY !!! We do walk him every day that the weather permits except not now while he has the cone on.. He must be quiet to let the incisions (3 of them) heal... He had 3 incisions.. One for a hernia, one because one of his testicles didn't drop, and for his neutering... We do give him some tranquilizers as prescribed by the vet, but they don't work very well and not for long enough... Besides, I don't like doping up the poor puppy.. If only we could get him to stop jumping it would be a good thing....... Look, he's active and a puppy which is normal... Other than that, he is very affectionate... He isn't a bad dog at all, just young..
We just had a phone call from from a close friend to say her husband has died ..sad ….so we will be taking a trip up to a town called Whyalla 3 hours drive from where we live real soon They are friends who taught us allot of the dances we still do, now days
Oh Kate.... I am so sorry to heat this... It is always sad to hear that someone close to us passed away.. Please take care of yourselves...
Yes Louise , we used to swap rides to Adelaide to go to dances they would take their car one week , then we would take ours the week after …and they ran a very small dance near home we attended ..think I mentioned we attended a dance at a hall in the middle of no where near home
I'm up and on here for only a short while.. Back to bed I go.. way too early to get up... Unbelievable, but we just had a snow storm... Yes, SNOW at the end of April.. It won't last as the daytime temperature will be sunny and 10c, but overnight it dropped down to -17c and snow..
