Just read that Jelly Roll, along with Kelly Clarkson, Fantasia and another young lady, are being considered to replace Katy Perry as a Judge on American Idol. We could handle Kelly Clarkson doing it, however she already has a talk show in the afternoons on tv. If Jelly Roll is picked, this last season of watching American Idol would be our last!

Jelly Roll may as well sign that deal, since he's inked everything else. ;)

Hence the "XO" in "Bunny XO."

The joke used to be that when you played country music backwards, the guy sobered up, his truck started running again, and his girlfriend came back. Play his records backwards and he gets his tats lasered and she's a virgin again (not that you can really tell when someone plays rap backwards.)

Seriously, these moves always lose more fans than they gain. And this guy is like a lot of wannabes who cannot cut it in their primary field, so they turn to Christian music or country where the pickin's are easy.

We recorded the CMA Awards from last night to avoid the commercials. However, I did read the article and look at pictures, online, of the Awards Show from last night. Looks like the rapper Post Malone is "trying" to go Country-Western. He was there wearing a Felt cowboy hat and performed. He has now grown a beard, but his facial tats can still be seen. He was up for a CMA Award, but didn't win. Jelly Roll was there also and performed with Brooks & Dunn. To us, neither Post Malone or Jelly Roll will ever be "Country-Western", but then again, we aren't part of today's fans of that music.

And, it also appears that more of the lady music artists are now wearing Felt cowboy hats, like Terry Clark did and still does. Lainey Wilson and Miranda Lambert both look great in a Felt cowboy hat!

Who in the heck is Bailey Zimmerman??? His song, New To Country, fits that kid perfectly, but what he wore sure didn't!

Clint Black was there. Looks good for his age of 62!

George Strait got the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award. His entire family was there.

Brooks & Dunn got an award and they've been around since mid 80's. We have their Greatest Hits CD, now copied onto USB for our vehicle.

I never watch any of those type of shows anymore. Awards and all that other crude.
Like many I have become judgemental at times in regards to the attire or lack of. Actors do not know how to give a speech or talk with out a script. Then the behavior of some..well I feel like not missing anything. Country music is still my favorite- but a only those before 2000. I think even @Cody Fousnaugh would agree, real country music was left behind. I
am also tried of every orifice of the face being pierced or tattooed. It is very distracting also.
