My Recent Online Purchases - What Were Yours?

My husband likes a fried egg sandwich on a hamburger bun, a little mayo, with ham and a slice of cheese. Usually I just wad the egg up till it fits.

It's OK. This poor folk has many cast iron pieces including a small round and a square pan already.

 

In case anyone missed the action, I have captured the still image. Note the freakishly long throwing arm. Must be a requirement for "wearing the blue."

 

I saw a tip used by some pro chefs on eggs "run". They broke the eggs into a fine-mesh strainer to let the runny part drip through, then fried it up. It made a tighter egg and less likely to leak under the ring. I haven't tried it though, as I don't have the rings.

 

I opened the little pan today and it is bent. I did not order an oval pan. Hmmm, I wonder what could have possibly caused that???

 

As an aside to this mini-drama, I also ordered a silicone spatula. The rubber spatula was shipped in a padded bag but the pan was in the standard thin plastic bag. Genius!

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realise that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death, by his parents, Truth and Trust, by his wife, Discretion, by his daughter, Responsibility, and by his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers;

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

 

Coming Wednesday, more socks for him, paper plates, Q tips,toilet paper,shaving brush, and some silicone spatulas I love love using these.
