Potatoes cut up small, bacon cut up small, chopped onion, and a couple of eggs scrambled together in a skillet, with plenty of salt and pepper, and then wrapped in a tortilla. I like to keep it healthy.

What DH had for breakfast this morning …….

at the resort where we are till Friday morning , he’s so lucky he can eat what he wants and never gains any weight and he’s the “correct” recommended weight for his height.

Meanwhile my breakfast is a bit of cereal and yoghurt / tomato juice and coffee

I love hotel buffets. I would go back to HQ monthly and stay at the hotel a couple of nights. Sometimes they had lox & bagels with onions & capers. You gotta be careful with all the variety...

@John Brunner they have 2 qualified chiefs at the twin towns resort where we are , they even had a delicious looking veggie lasagne this morning …. all freshly cooked ( they make a different hot dish everyday) along with the usual bacon / sausages / hash browns / eggs 3 ways , scrambled / poached / fried / tomatoes / baked beans / mushrooms ..and the list gos on and on in just the hot bar area ….

I don’t know that anyone needs lasagne as a breakfast so I asked if I could have a takeaway for latter and they said sure and gave me 2 takeaway containers ( we prob won’t even eat it till tomorrow )
The chefs start work at 4.30 am …, 2 hours before the breakfast area opens

That was nice of them to let you do Take-Away from a buffet. Saves the cost of a meal.
