The white shoes I bought from David Jones, they are actually white and grey ….but photo makes them look yellowly and tan..ish, they were stuffed with tissue paper and the brown looking bit of cardboard that looks like a pencil….when I buy something expensive I usually pay for them in 4 payments through pay pal
I buy my barn shoes at resale shops. Some were name brand, some barely used (until I got them) A few years ago I got several pairs of sneakers at Walmart that I save for when I want to impress my friends with clean new sneakers. Mostly they just stay up in my closet because I don't enjoy bending down to put them on and tie them. I mostly slip on my shoes. I buy orthotics to slip into shoes when I need to. But I am with @Kate Ellery and I would never pay full price for used shoes.
I have muck boots and I have crappy shoes for when things are dry. Shoes are more comfortable. When I had horses or cows, I let them stay in the arena area of the barn, not in stalls. I would pick up all the manure but didn't need to use bedding because of the large area. I could put them outside or in stalls if I wanted to work them in the arena. Mostly I need boots for the wet weather we've had this year for outside work.
I recently purchased another Kindle Paperwhite, plus a cover. I had one in the past and really liked it. I like my mini Ipad as a reader too, but for me, the Kindle Paperwhite is easier on my eyes and reads more like a physical book.
I bought another Kindle cover and returned the one I previously purchased. The one I returned was supposed of have been leather but it felt more like hard plastic. The Mr. added some new lawn mower tires to my order.
A pair of jeans that I received yesterday. Amazing but they are too short on me; I don't like the "ankle jeans" thing because they look stupid on me. (And I'm short!!) So now I'll have to return them, plus a pair of shoes that are also a disappointment.
I like reading on the small Kindle readers ; but I have found that returning the books and selecting a new book is a lot simpler with my iPad Mini than it is on any of the Kindles that I have had. Now, I just use the mini and don’t have any kindles anymore, although I still keep thinking that i want one.
I’ve worn the white shoes and they are very comfortable @Mary Stetler it’s a pity the black ones were secondhand , never mind they will come up on sale again. I’ve actually emailed Ecco ..politely asking for a please explain ….( because they distribute shoes to outlets who sell their shoes ) I want to know why this is the second time I’ve received second hand shoes ( 2 years ago I received a really stinky well worn pair of sandals … Direct from Ecco shoes ( not from an outlet ) This issue wastes my time / energy and it costs me $$$ to post any parcels , I have to travel 20 km each to a parcel post …post office so that costs me $$$ …
No, they don't. I grew up being able to buy Vernors in the stores in Michigan, but have never seen it in Maine.
