Hutchinson is a good man. If he could bring back the Republicans who have temporarily abandoned the party, he could win the nomination. I doubt it will happen, and that's unfortunate. If he did, I think he could beat Biden in 2024. He would make a good president. He has not flip-flopped on current affairs.

The name is familiar to me but I honestly know very little about him.

Asa Hutchinson, I think, is an establishment Republican who would be in favor of establishment Republican talking points, such as the war on drugs, pretty much any fighting war anyone might dream of, federal rights over state or individual rights, and so on, while not changing the direction of government one bit. So yeah, he'd likely get the support of the Never Trump crowd and those who view politics as sports, choosing a team and rooting for them in election years. Think Jeb Bush. I'd rather have DeSantis, and I don't want DeSantis. Please clap.

A lot of skunks out there coming into the open after the bogus indictment. Many no doubt behind the door gigglers are republican thinking this is my chance. In the end it will be just like I've said, if Trump is not running then be sure and -1 vote for any republican running. Priority one is to see Trump vindicated for the criminal activity he has endured for simply trying to help America, not half America or one party but All of America. Silly ingrates of both parties. From now on it is wild west in American politics and voting. The criminals have control for now but judgement is coming and they are going to regret it. Unfortunately it won't come from this sorry crowd of republicans in office today.

Oh my goodness! Listen to Blinken express concern about the recent Venezuelan election! He has concerns that the election does not reflect the will of the Venezuelan people. Be aware that the last time I checked, Venezuela used the same software as many of the U.S. states. It can be manipulated from outside. Add to that ballot box stuffing and Venezuela has concerns that U.S. elections may not reflect the will of the American people. I remember a commentator in the UK stating that if the 2020 election had occurred in any place other than the U.S., it would have been denounced as a corrupt election...just as we have denounced the Venezuelan election. We are one banana republic criticizing another.

Note first: I put this here just because. If it is better served in another location then so be it.

I understand much of why the Dems are so enthusiastic about bringing in illegal aliens but what I didn’t consider is what kind of impact the illegals make on the electoral college vote.

I doubt Don Lemon understood any of it. He appeared confused. Perhaps he should be the token Black Gay guy on The View since they seem to collect the stupidest people in the television media.

This is very good, and it's not all that long... for those of you with short attention spans.

The Question You May Be Asked at Your Next Doctor Visit: Are You Registered To Vote?

The Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute is an 89-bed facility associated with Pennsylvania State University. The patients suffer from a variety of illnesses such as schizophrenia, substance abuse, depression, or bipolar disorder. Some might even be suicidal, aggressive in some way, or a danger to themselves or others. In many cases, the patients are there involuntarily, or they do not have the mental capacity to make decisions that voting requires. But for Democrats and their healthcare activist buddies, none of those should be a reason for not being registered to vote.

In 2020 (imagine that), the institute began asking patients, regardless of their diagnosis, if they would be interested in "voter registration tools." This enabled them to find the nearest polling station and online voter registration. Another service hospital staff provides is "assistance" with mail-in voting.

.... An executive order signed in 2021 by Joe Biden declared "access to voting" a duty of federal agencies, and Vot-ER has been instrumental in advising the administration on how to implement details of the executive order.

My doctor is not going to like the response he gets if he mentions politics to me for any reason. That would be as bad as asking me if I have a gun in the house.

Joe Biden’s doctor probably asked him the same questions. Do you know how to vote? Who did you vote for in 2020? Ya know, cognitive stuff.

An item I just received form a friend in Minnesota:

"Getting closer to the election and it seems a general tension building across the country.. MN opened a new ..in person absentee ballot option.. in the state.. Only to find some counties have made massive mistakes on ballots being used.. Candidates listed on the wrong party, for the wrong office and I'm not sure what all else.. I got a feeling this is going to be one of many problems that comes up before this election is over.. "

North Carolina Election Board Removes 747,000 from Voter Rolls for Ineligibility

The board of elections in North Carolina removed 747,000 individuals from voter rolls over the past 20 months because they are ineligible for registration. The State Board of Elections said in a press release people were removed from the rolls due to moving to another state, dying, or personally requesting to be removed, according to The Hill.

This purge happened shortly after Republicans in North Carolina filed a lawsuit arguing that there were a number of people on the voter rolls not eligible to vote. North Carolina is expected to be a swing state in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

In the lawsuit, a resident in Wake County stated voter registration forms in the county didn't require a driver's license or social security numbers. “By failing to collect certain statutorily required information prior to registering these applicants to vote, Defendants placed the integrity of the state’s elections into jeopardy,” the lawsuit reads.

The population of the state is 10,000,000 people, including children and unregistered voters.

I remember some "clean black guy" [per Biden] telling us things were as good as they're gonna get. Then a non-politician amateur got in the driver's seat.
