It might be gearing up for election results. One attempt at voter fraud here was caught when they posted numbers too early and actually tallied more voters than had voted. They explained it by saying that a "practice run" had accidentally gotten included in the real vote count.
Well, I got back the test results for the cat scan. Here they are: KIDNEYS/URETERS/BLADDER: 4 mm stone in the left distal ureter, without hydronephrosis (series 2 image 119). BOWEL/MESENTERY/OMENTUM: Diverticulosis. MISCELLANEOUS: Sebaceous cyst in the left back. IMPRESSION: 4 mm stone in the left distal ureter without hydronephrosis. My mistake it's osis not litis. No problem. I'm more concerned with the Diverticulitis I got the results from my portal, tried to get The Doctor, tried 4 different lines, No resuit's either busy or no answer. I'd like to get an antibiotic as soon as possible. I feel a slight pulling in the divertic area, no unbearable pain. I'll have to try again tomorrow.
Spoke to my wife last night they're in Iowa and went to see the Shrine of The Grotto of Redemption in West Bend. She said it was beautiful and amazing. I have seen photos of it, an Incredible feat, basically built by one priest. I'm sure there are videos on YouTube about this and at some point I will check them out and get story behind this. I have a lot of red tomatoes that I picked and some still on the vines. I want to make a tomato sauce out of them. We used to use a juicer that automatically separated out the seeds and skin, I don't have that kind of equipment so I want to research how to make tomato sauce using another method. Yesterday I purchased a potato Smasher, cutting board and a screen strainer at the Dollar Tree. I thought they might come in handy we'll see. This should be an interesting and hopefully successful endeavor.
Well i've processed about fifteen various size tomatoes, Got most of the seeds and skin out, Now I have this juice in a pot to thicken it. After it boils down to a good thickness I will season it. I don't like seasoning prior to it boiling down the tomatoes because it's easy to misjudge How much seasoning you really need. Hopefully I'll have a tasty pasta dish tonight, I love the taste of fresh made sauce.
That stinks. I think the 4mm stone is on the threshold of the size that requires intervention (not likely to pass on its own.) And I agree with you regarding getting antibiotics quickly. I'm a little surprised they could see the diverticulitis without contrast...at least, I had to have contrast when they were specifically investigating mine (although the blockage showed u on an x-ray.) That's a nasty double-whammy. When I got my last stones, I thought it was my diverticulitis acting up. When I first had it, it really messed with my bowel movements. That was the only symptom. When I did the contrast (barium and gadolinium), it horribly aggravated the diverticulitis. ps: Have you got your script yet?
No, I saw the results on my portal. They haven't even called me yet with the results really efficient, huh?
Heavy rain lightning and thunder right now.My dog tia is a wreck. I was sitting in the kitchen.I.Saw a lightning strike in the backyard, I don't know what it hit but back there it was were trees and a house is. I hope all is well.
Tony, try sending the doctor a message via your portal. Sometimes that gets faster action than waiting on a return phone call.
Good idea! I'm thinking of going to the office tomorrow. We've been thinking of changing our Doctor because of things like this. One hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing syndrome, This is The same office That almost killed my wife, if I didn't call emergency She be gone. I found the urology & med center 2 towns over. That sounds very promising 5 stars Good reviews, I will give them a call tomorrow. fortunately so far I'm not in any discomfit. What makes it even harder right now Is that my wife's away, My son-in-law is coming over tonight He'll do some of the heavy stuff , like take the garbage out and things like that.
Last night's dinner with the fresh tomato sauce was delicious. I found two half boxes or pasta in the pantry a Rigatoni and a Penne. I didn't boil them in separate pots I mix them, I lucked out because I timed they're cooking process perfectly so they both came out al dente. Because I like the taste of the frest tomatoes I don't overpower it with a lot of seasoning, salt, pepper, pinch of red pepper, minimum onion and garlic. I'm looking forward to the leftovers today. My wife called last night they're in South Dakota she said it was 7:00 pm there, it was 9 pm here, I told her she was 2 hours younger keep driving.
The only meds I think i'm gonna need this is for the kidney stone. I made a mistake thinking I had an infection in the divertic I don't it's not Diverticulitis, it's osis.
My son in law stayed over last night, he went outside this morning and found a tree next door is down from the storm last night. It's hanging over the fence and is tangled in some of our wires, I believe it's the cable line. It looks like another fun day.
I grew some San Martino-type tomatoes in containers on my deck one year. That was when I was making my own pasta. As you said, with good tomatoes, you go minimalist on the seasonings. Regarding your diverticulosis...I'm glad it's not the -itis. I'd worry about you not getting antibiotics yet, not to mention the pain. Mine was discovered during a colonoscopy. I got mild diverticulitis about 5 years later. You may want to consider probiotics (beneficial bacteria) and prebiotics (specific type of fiber) to keep the biome in your lower G.I. healthy. I had been taking probiotics when I got my -itis, then added prebiotics, which really helped with the aftermath.
