Tim Walz reminds me a lot of Don Rickles, only I don't think Walz is trying to be funny. Tampons in Middle School boys' bathrooms were probably good for a few giggles, though, at least among the Middle School boys. I hope they taught the boys how to use them. We've come a long way, baby. When I was in school, they wouldn't even let me sign up for home ec.

    Oops. My bad.

How about this regarding the pedophilia issue:

On May 30, 2023, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz signed into law HF 1655, also known as the “Take Pride Act.” The “Take Pride Act” sought to redefine “sexual orientation” in the Minnesota Human Rights Act, removing the explicit exclusion of pedophilia. The original text of the law stated that “‘
Sexual orientation’ does not include a physical or sexual attachment to children by an adult.” However, the new law, signed by Walz, removes this crucial caveat, raising concerns about the potential implications for the protection of minors. Critics argue that the removal of the anti-pedophile language weakens the state’s ability to protect minors from sexual abuse and exploitation and that it opens the door for pedophilia to be recognized as a legally protected sexual orientation.

One thing we do have to do is clear up a couple of things about Walz’s service in the National Guard.

Yes, he spent 24 years in the NG and yes, he and his unit did deploy…..to Italy.
He was a command Sergeant Major until he was Demoted when he ducked out of combat deployment supposedly because he was going to run for Congress yet he still says he retired as a Command Sergeant Major.

Just for those who do not know.
National Guardsmen (and women) are on standby but unless they are deployed, they only meet one weekend a month hence the moniker, the weekend warriors.
Whilst there are some proficiency standards, most ranking is due to “time in grade”. In other words, all Walz had to really do is to make the meetings, receive the training and in due time, a promotion is on the way.
In reality, those 24 years Walz spent in the National Guards, other than the time in deployment, was only semi-active 1 weekend a month or about 5 years of uniformed service of which none was served in a war zone but at home in the good ‘ol U.S. of A.

Note: I’m not saying anything at all bad about the National Guard for most certainly, they’re there when they are needed.
Still, in my opinion Walz served for the paycheck and the obvious notoriety one obtains by serving yet shoots himself in the foot when he claims to have retired as a Command Sergeant Major and spent time in Combat. Both are blatant lies.

Note 2: Ya see, unlike some others here, when I write that someone lied I tell the whole story and not merely that he’s a liar with nothing to back it up with.

    And it grows .....

The latest lie is said to concern Walz's claims as football coach.

"The Democrat governor has repeatedly claimed he was the driving force behind turning Mankato West High School’s football team into champions. However, it was revealed that he wasn’t the bigwig he paraded himself to be.

In truth, Walz served as the defensive coordinator under head coach Rick Sutton.

While a defensive coordinator still plays a crucial role in coaching a football team, the white lie adds to his other lies"

And the one good thing in his record was he got tampon dispensers into the wash rooms--the boys' washrooms.

Have to have them otherwise the young misgendered creatures would empty the dispensers in the girls restrooms.

They try to paint Walz as a Lex Luthor but it's pretty clear he's more of an Otis Grisham.

Col. John Kolb, Walz’s direct supervisor whilst in the National Guard has a little something to say about the good VP candidate.
(cut and pasted from FB) IMG_0111.jpeg

One would wonder how Walz was elected to be the Gov. of Minnesota but then, I also still wonder how Jesse Ventura of the reformist party was elected to govern that fine state several years ago.

And, how ‘bout that wonderful U.S. hater, Ilhan Omar?

The stolen valor issue just keeps on getting worse, it seems like. Now, they have found a speech that he gave where he says that he was in Baghrum, Iraq, one night and how he watched a dead soldier’s body being put on a plane to be flown back home.

The problem is not only that he never was deployed to Iraq, but Baghrum happens to be in Afghanistan, so he was either mixed up in what he wrote, or did it deliberately.
This page is online, so you can look it up and see the actual speech where he said this. (The link is on my screenshot, but does not work there, of course, so you have to type it in.)

I wonder if Walz was there when Hillary's plane was shot down.

Nothing like the Secretary of State of the United States of America falsely claiming there to have been an assassination attempt on her life on foreign soil...and nothing was done about it, either militarily or diplomatically.

The problem is that there is no expectation on the part of Democrats or Republicans that Democrats will tell the truth, so when they get caught in a lie, it's just more of the same. When my cat knocks something off my desk, there's nothing shocking about it. I might laugh about it but I don't try to figure out what's going on with the cat. The fact that Democrats are always shocked when a Republican is caught in a lie says something good about Republicans.

That's because the media never beats their (the Democrats') drum.
-Republicans are caught in a lie and the headline is "Republicans Are Liars."
-Democrats are caught in a lie and the headline is "Conservatives Outraged Over Dems' Behaviour!"

We see the same media bias in reporting on "riots" vs. "protests" and "insurrections" vs. "demonstrations" and on and on. Everything that Orwell and his colleagues warned us about seems to be current practice today.
