Alpha lipoprotein is a nerve nutrient that reduces neuropathy in many people.

Is that the same as Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA), because not a lot of results come up for Alpha lipoprotein.

Nope, couldn't run fast enough. I have peripheral neuropathy in my feet, bad. I take gabapentin; it helps a little.

My brain shifted gears in the middle of the word. I started with alpha lipoic acid and ended with alpha fetoprotein:confused:

My friend with Decades of PN was very consumed with eating too much sugar stuff....I wanted to say something about it to her, but she probably wouldn't want to hear it.

I couldn't tell you when I last had a piece of pie or dish of ice cream. I even limit fruit and avoid bananas entirely on doctor's orders. Breads, crackers, pasta, potatoes, all in moderation. Type 2 diabetes isn't fun.

Maybe I'm lucky. No neuropathy here though I do have some carpal tunnel that I use a brace on some nights.

I do take a statin, but I haven't had any untoward symptoms I can pin on that.

No, have not escaped .. have had it a few years in bottom of feet. I use a massager to the bottom of them off and on and that does away with it temporarily. I do get tingling in hands, and arms. Meds I take can cause some of that. i just do not worry about and keep moving on.

    That NEVER happens to me.
Now, what were we talking about and what did I come down into the basement for?
I used benfotiamine--a fat soluable vitamin B 1 for circulation, nerve health and various problems. Maybe also nattokinase to help blood flow.
