I've binge-watched 4 of the Star Trek Movies so far, 1st thru IV and it was almost as good as the first time through, better if you count the things I didn't remember from the first time around. Pretty nice nostalgic trip for me IV will always be my fave I think There all on Prime if you have it.
I loved Top Gun, but I think TG Maverick was even better! I rarely say that about sequels What about Flight of the Intruder @Cody Fousnaugh ?? I loved that one!!
I have a large movie collection so don't have to pay to stream often. Watched RR movie, Unstoppable. I exercise to the music in Six Days, Seven Nights. I don't mind watching old movies over because I forget a lot of the substance. I forget new movies too.
Last night I watched equalizer 3 With Denzel Washington. There were numerous warnings before the movie started of disturbing scenes with blood and gore, After I watched it I understood why. I think it was overdone, Didn't need that much Is graphic details. Because you have special effects that can make killing somebody look real Does mean you have to show it. Personally I prefer the old days were they grabbed there chest after being shot, And you think what happened to the blood? It's not just the blood and gore, It's the violent way they kill people, and enjoy it, for me, it sends a bad message.
I like the Equalizer series with Queen Latifa. Love that a large beautiful woman has such skill to take care of any dangerous situation.
Last night I watched a movie called The book of Daniel. It wasn't some fancy production, but it was a fascinating story, especially for those that have an interest in the bible.
I think one of the best movies I've ever seen was Mrs. Minerva with Greer Garson. Showed a lot of what goes on with the family left at home during wars, and also, a pretty good depiction of the civilian heros at Dunkirk.
I just watched a movie on Netflix titled The Land of BAD. Liam Hemsworth, Russell Crowe, and Luke Hemsworth. Military storyline something that I don't usually watch but because of the Hemsworths and Crowe in the cast the movie caught my interest. I wasn't disappointed.
Today I watched a SiFi action movie called called "The Tomorrow War" with Chris Pratt. It had an interesting concept for a story. Humanity in the future is under attack by aliens, And they're losing the war. They send people back in time to the present to enlist their help to fight the aliens. This movie had lots of action, and probably would have been more successful, Had it not Been released during COVID.
