The DNC starts on Monday, and the only thing that I have seen thus far about the event is that Biden is going to speak on Monday, and officially turn over the nomination to Kamala Harris. The event is in Chicago, and the stores there are expecting some kind of protests and maybe even riots, so stores are being boarded up that are nearby. Word has been spreading for several days about antifa protests during the convention, which seems strange. The liberals are the ones responsible for forming antifa here in the United States, and before, they protested against President Trump, and conservatives, right along with the BLM protests. We have also seen the Hamas protesters outside of some of the rallies where Harris and Walz have been speaking, so there might be others protesting at the same time. Kim Clement prophesied several years ago about some sort of convention that was at the same hotel where the DNC is at, and in his vision, he saw some kind of bombing, or maybe a terrorist attack. Whether now is when that happens or not, remains to be seen; but it looks like there will be things to write about once the program gets underway.

Good evening to all- What a ridiculous waste of time, money and air. Political conventions are just very expensive adult versions of the silly high school pep rallies held before football games .The money and time spent on these shows could be much better spent on other points- not on silly made for TV excuses for political types to gather and smooze and hobnob and get drunk. what a joke. We all know the people. We all know the opposition. Let's just get to the election and see what happens. Why give protesters and opposition people free TV time and exposure? Yeah, but the real deep revulsion was more personal. Last time I saw the evil place was in the side rear mirrors of a long U-Haul headed west bound and down. In the cab with me were 2 young grandchildren, their dog and their kitties. I swore I would never return and I haven't. Not sure if Antifa could finish the place off or not. Maybe pro-Hamas can, especially if they are reinforced with Biden's border crossers. I fear for the cops that will be expected to keep the peace.

Most of us remember that there were usually a supply of stacked bricks found in the cities where antifa were set to arrive and start riots and protests. Now, I am seeing pictures on Twitter of people finding these pallets of bricks near the area in Chicago where the DNC is going to be starting tomorrow. I am still confused why antifa would be rioting at the DNC , when they have always been a tool used by the liberals against Trump or other conservative politicians. There has been talk that the democrats are worried about conservative protests, but none of those are going to happen, unless it is one of the pretend ones like the FBI fake marchers, Patriot Front. I don’t think that they want to stage riots between those, and risk the FBI fake protestors being hurt, but one never knows what might happen.

Antifa was very interesting in 2020. We tended to think of people who riot and burn things down as persons from the slums, etc, but that's not Antifa. Many members of Antifa are the children of very well off people and sometimes very well known people. I heard on the news that the delegates to the DNC have been advised to register under false names at their hotels for their own safety. Imagine that. Btw, for any lurking trolls it is not conservatives or Republicans who are a threat to the DNC. It's their own side, their most radical side who want to attack the Democrats who aren't radical enough. The pro-Hamas, pro-communist. anti-Israel, anti-American, crowd.
I think many of the Antifa folks are professional demonstrators and riot or demonstrate for whoever pays them. It is how a lot of them "earn" a living.
The protesters at the Democrat convention have torn down part of the fence that was just put up last week, and are now inside of the fence and heading for the main building where the convention is happening. President Biden is supposed to speak later today, and make his speech turning over the candidacy for president 2024 over to Kamala Harris. If all of these people get inside of the hotel, they might have to shut the convention down, at least temporarily, while the police and Nation Guard remove the protestors. There are videos online, and this is a screenshot from one that I was watching. Wondering if this whole thread is going to end up under the riots and protests section of the forum, instead of the politics section, at the rate things are happening. Most of the antifa protestors are from Europe, and not the American ones we had doing the riots before when they were attacking police stations and court houses and stuff like that.
I saw some Arabs being interviewed in Chicago. I don't know if they were legal immigrants or not, but they were demanding abandoning Israel, supporting Hamas, and they want Medicare for everyone in the U.S., whether legal or not.
