much more disciplined Julia- but have to be. BTW, I have slept all day - no sleep last night- well not much. TTY in a bit
I stopped by a local place in my neighborhood after a doctor appointment yesterday and got a huge club sandwich. I ate half yesterday & finished it off about an hour ago. I don't eat a lot of lunch meat. I probably drank a gallon of water...it's rather salty. So how did you cook that burger? Grilled outside or fried inside?
I had Mexican for lunch (chicken enchiladas.) The past few times it's not sat well with me. Maybe I need to lay off of the cheese dips and the chips...too much grease.
Sodium and grease are not a friend of anyone, especially as we age.Yes it's tasty but deadly. But what do I know.I would be scared to eat like that but on the other hand you only have 1 life so I'll get off my soap box and you eat whatever you like. Me,I had a chicken salad with wholegrain croutons.
We went out today on a tour trolley in Dodge . Ate at an Applebee's- this out third time at any Applebee's- after today we will no longer set foot in one - anywhere
Every other week I stop at a local Stop 'n Rob and get some gas station fried chicken. It's pretty good, and I make chicken sandwiches with honey mustard dressing for under $2 each. That's my country life...take my trash to the drop-off center, then buy fried chicken at the Citgo station. The only other thing that made it complete was the call from my neighbor putting out a "Bear in the neighborhood" alert. As long as it stays away from my chicken, we'll get along fine.
I went to a car show with my neighbors today. It ran the gammut of trucks from 1940 to a 2006 Maserati...all in the parking lot of the high school the next county over. Since they drove, I bought us lunch from a roach truck. Chili cheese dog+chips+drink = $10.
Reuben and onion rings at the local diner. It was good, but I gotta stop eating this crap (even though it's not often that I do.)
